Subject: Cult Scam in Film Reviews!!

Ever read the glowing review of the BE script written by telenovelist Brad Linawaver?

http://www.cinecon.com/reviews/batearthscript.html

It suddenly popped up on the net after Mark Ebner's scathing article in Mean Magazine in which he sent the script (with a name change) to professional readers and got very harsh reactions from the industry.

Then my on-line review appeared:

http//www.xenutv.com/us/review.htm

...along with plenty more nagative buzz about the script.

Well, I've always known that Linaweaver's review was a Scientology scam but one of the Scientology shills on the Warner's BE board drew my attention back to the review so I did a little research.

Turns out Linaweaver is a winner of the L. Ron Hubbard new Author's award and...

"This year he is helping with publicity for the film version of Battlefield Earth."

Why must the cult be so predictable?

Here is my comment to this review:
After all these negative reviews, it was no surprise that Scientology would come up with his 'own' script review. In this case they use a guy called Brad Linaweaver, a writer and actor. The first odd thing is that I've never seen a 'professional' writer on websites like 'Aint-It-Cool-News' or 'Darkhorizons'.
And who writes an introduction about himself ?
Someone wrote the introduction and he/she sent this script review to CINEMA CONFIDENTIAL.
The next odd thing is, how this guy celebrates L.Ron Hubbard, which continues through the entire review. Is this guy capable to say something negativ about Elron?

But it comes much better. Brad Linaweaver claims that "the film version of Battlefield Earth is being compared to other block-buster science fiction films before it even comes out. The obvious and best comparison is to the Star Wars films."
And who compares 'Battlefield Earth' to Star Wars? Only John Travolta and $cientology.
Scientology started to compare 'Battlefield' with Star Wars with the publishing of the book 'BE' in the early 80's. They also began to manipulate book reviews like these from 'Best Seller' or 'Publishers Weekly'.
The opinion from reviewers like from 'Analog' or the 'Magazine for Fantasy and Science Fiction' stands not surprisingly in contrast to this one.

Finally you get the impression that the author is most likely a $cientogist.

Quote: "Cynics won't understand what I'm talking about because they share the psychology of the Psychlos."

Wow, that's an interesting quote. To understand what the author actually means you must know that the 'Psychlos' are nothing else than 'Psychologists' according to L.Ron Hubbard.
The cynics are the Scientology-Critics or everyone who doesn't like this movie.

One moviefan on the CINECON messageboard had the following to say :"...that [this] review PRE-EMPTIVELY CALLS PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE THE FILM "PEOPLE WITH THE PSYCHOLOGY OF THE PSYCHLOS", WHO ARE THE RACE THAT HAS ENSLAVED EARTH AND EXTERMINATED MOST OF THE SPECIES!!!"

Note: Critics are called 'Enemies' and 'Surpressive Persons' ("Fair Game") by Scientology.

This review is 'PURE' Scientology-Propaganda, nothing else. Another example that $cientology will try everything to create some positive buzz about this movie.
