Jennifer Aniston - Biography

Jennifer Aniston was born February 11, 1969 in California (the Valley, so yes she's a Val!), and raised mostly in New York. Her father is an actor, so young Jennifer was around acting from an early age.

Jennifer has Greek ancestors, and actually spent some time in Greece as a child, before settling in New York. She first acted at around age 11, as part of the her school's drama troup.

She started her professional training at New York's High School for the Performing Arts as a drama student, and graduated in 1987. She proceeded to land roles in off-Broadway productions, before getting her first TV role on "Molloy". She also starred briefly in "The Edge", "Ferris Bueller", a recurring role "Herman's Head", "Quantum Leap" and "Burke's Law".

Jennifer is also an artist, and has had paintings selected for public display, among other places in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. She still spends much time on art projects, including charcoal drawings, clay sculptures, and paintings.

Already an accomplished actress, Aniston has now completed production on the upcoming feature film "Dreams for an Insomniac" starring Ione Skye and Mackenzie Astin. She has also participated in an interactive tutorial CD Rom project, directed by Steven Spielberg.

In her spare time, she enjoys life out of doors, and spend much of her time hiking. She currently lives in Hollywood, where such opportunity is scarce.
