An in joke in Small Potatoes - The silent 'h' in Eddie Van Blundht's name. This refers to the 'h' in Duchovny which is often mispronounced. When the 'h' falls off the house it is a reference to the fact that DD'd father Amran dropped the 'h' from his name becoming Amran Ducovny.

Christine Cavanaugh who guest starred as Amanda in Small Potatoes also voices Chuckie from the Rugrats and Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory.

The footage in Max him on home video was shot by actress Chilton Crane who played Sharon Graffia.
