"Parrish (Jack Holt) had heard the gossip about Rita (Nita Naldi) and Busini (Theodore Kosloff)..." Well, obviously where there's smoke there's fire! Our darling vamp seems captivated by Busini's continental charm even if he doesn't have Valentino's grace. But if looks could kill, Busini would be tortellini judging by Jack's molten glare! If he only knew--the real competition, Delaney (Rod LaRocque), is yet to come.
Don't Call It Love was a wonderful story about the eternal triangle. Published in book form as Rita Coventry, by Julian Street, the book, though elusive, can be found on rare book searches. With the illustrated photoplay book and the gorgeous poster art, we get a glimpse of how vampishly marvelous Nita must have been in this film!
