Welcome to Dermott's little nest
For all you who doesn't know, the animal actor Mia has a very important role in The Adventures of Sinbad, as Maeve's brother, who's been turned into a hawk by the evil sorceress Rumina. What Rumina hadn't counted with, was the fact that he would stand by Maeve's side no matter if it would be as a human or as a bird. Dermott is very useful for the crew, with his ability to fly and see things without being seen, and he's also very important to Maeve, who's actually able to communicate with him (without speaking, although). Rumina's way of treating Dermott, is the main reason for Maeve's hatred for her. Dermott's connection to Maeve is kept as a secret, not even Sinbad get's to know what makes Dermott so special for her but he understands that they have a bond in some way.
