SCENE # SCENE DESCRIPTION # OF VOTES
701. Haddonfield, Ill. October 31, 1978 – re-showing of scene from part 1(as are the
next 2 scenes) where Laurie Strode tells the 2 kids to get help. Michael Myers
had just been stabbed near the closet and now he gets up. Dr. Loomis hears the
kids as they run out of the house and he goes to help.

702. Michael Myers attacks Laurie as Loomis goes up the stairs. Loomis shoots
Michael Myers 6 times (but if you listen it really is 8, yet the film ignores this
fact from here on out) and Michael Myers falls off the balcony.

703. Laurie asks, “Was that the Bogeyman?” Loomis replies “As a matter of fact, that was.”

704. First new scene of the movie, Loomis goes to check on the body of Michael
Myers which was laying on the grass (at the end of part 1 it was actually dirt but
now grass has been added) but it is gone. Loomis checks and finds blood on the
grass. He scans the streets but sees nothing. Considering that 6-8 shots have been
fired, an empty street may be a good thing, if people knew what was best for
them.

705. A neighbor finally leaves his house to investigate, saying he’s been trick-or-treated
to death. Loomis says “You don’t know what death is!” (“Don’t know
much about history, know much about psychology…”)

706. Opening Credits – cute skull in the pumpkin!

707. Camera acts as Michael Myers eyes and we see it pan across some back streets
near where Michael Myers was shot. Michael Myers exercises some pity as he
decides not to kill a dog (although he had no problem with the dog in part 1).
Michael Myers stops as he hears Loomis tell the officer he shot Michael Myers 6
(8!) times.

708. An old lady is cooking and Michael Myers stops at the window sill to look in.
No soup for you! As the woman checks on her tired husband, Michael Myers
enters. The woman is listening to a TV report about the murders tonight and
Michael Myers graciously borrows the woman’s kitchen knife (yet he leaves her
alive too – is Michael Myers getting soft on us?)

709. Old woman turns around to check on the sandwiches she was making and finds no
knife but instead blood all over the meat – hey, an interesting condiment selection there.

710. Michael Myers walks to a nearby house as the old lady is screaming. A young girl,
Alice, goes to investigate (All I can think of is the scene from “Scream”
where the man in the mask tells Drew Barrymore never to ask “who’s there?” –
he says “You might as well go out and investigate a strange noise or something” –
point is, you end up dead. And we have a count of 2 people investigating strange
noises -include the neighbor from #5). Anyway, the girl doesn’t see Michael
Myers but instead goes back inside (failing to close the door behind her!) and
chats on the phone. Her phone mate tells her to turn the radio on where news of
the murders airs and Alice realizes that is down the road. So she hears a strange
noise in the living rooms, goes to investigate and whammo!, dies.

711. The paramedics (played by “Relentless’ Leo Rossi as Bud and “Last
Starfighter”’s Lance Guest as Jimmy) attend to the injured body of Laurie. As
they talk to her in the ambulence, Jimmy tells Bud Laurie’s dad works at Strode
Realtors (a fact never followed up on the rest of the film – I wonder if this is a
plug for some other realtors shop that John Carpenter knows!)

712. A woman and her daughter are entering the hospital where Laurie is off to. The two
enter and find they must wait for the Dr. Laurie is quickly attended to though,
by a drunk doctor. Must be like General Ulysses Grant who took to the bottle in
the battle of Petersburg out of Boredom – this hospital looks just as empty.

713. Laurie refuses the shots the nurses try to give her, she doesn’t want to be “put to sleep.”
No Laurie this isn’t the dog pound, but you may go unconscious.

714. Loomis and the Sheriff are driving around town looking for Michael Myers. The
Sheriff is made at driving without any knowledge of Michael Myers whereabouts.
Says Loomis couldn’t have shot Michael Myers 6 times, for no
man could survive that.

715. Loomis sees Michael Myers on the street corner and chases him. Michael Myers
isn’t sure what’s going on as he crosses the street, then gets hit at 40 mph by a car.
The car hits another car and the whole mess explodes. Michael Myers is
dead, yeah! As they survey the damage, another cop arrives and tells the Sheriff
that his daughter Annie has been found dead, at the house across form the Doyle
residence.

716. The woman and the daughter leave the hospital having not been unattended to,
and then we see the hospital lobby with a TV report on.

717. Jimmy, the paramedic, goes to visit Laurie and then is followed in by a nurse.
Jimmy promises a coke to Laurie then gets the call to go grab the bodies of the three
across from the Doyle’s.

718. We see a TV reporter at the residence where 3 bodies have been found, they are
saying Michael Myers has died. Sheriff arrives to check on his daughter as the
paramedics wheel her body away. Sheriff then blames Loomis for letting Michael
Myers out.

719. Loomis asks some cops for confirmation that the dead, burned body is indeed
Michael Myers. Then Loomis gives his obligatory speech of Michael Myers as an
animal, pure evil, watched him for 15 years, etc.

720. 2 women go to their car on some business district. One is a nurse, Carol. As they
drive off, a man with a boom box has the radio news reports on of tonight’s
events and Michael Myers walks by – hears Laurie is at the hospital then bangs
into the guy.

721. Michael Myers now is on a mission and a cop car passes right by him and never
does anything (what kind of cops live in this city anyway?).

722. As Carol gets out of the car, Michael Myers is right behind her. Janet, a nurse, is
watching TV with Bud and Jimmy.

723. The security guard is reading some magazine as the camera pans to the security
camera focuses on the hospital grounds – Michael Myers is out there but the guys
fails to see this. He does let the nurse in and we should know Michael
Myers got in too.

724. Janet and Bud argue about Bud’s constant use of profanity, then she bails as
Bud’s girlfriend, Carol, enters. Carol exits and then in the tradition of Andrew
“Dice” Clay, Bud does some nasty poems. This angers Jimmy (probably a Bill
Cosby fan).

725. Michael Myers begins his search of the rooms on the hospital floors, as Carol
walks by not noticing (of course) that a serial killer is nearby. She checks on the
kids in the maternity ward but all is quiet (funny, no mothers around – just kids!).

726. Jimmy goes back to talk to Laurie and mentioned that Michael Myers is after her–
this is the first time that Laurie finds out who the masked killer is. Laurie
doesn’t understand why.

727. Jimmy is kicked out the room as a nurse tells Laurie her parents can’t be located
and the phones are dead (from here on out, we never again hear of her parents –
only saw them once in part 1).

728. Laurie tries the phone but no dice. Janet tells the guard who decides to go search
himself for the cause. He tells Janet to stay by the walkie-talkie in case he needs
to chat with her but she tells him she can’t work the device. (the question is,
what devices is she a pro at?)

729. Guard gets a good scare at the shed and then tried to tell Janet to get help. Janet is
still unable to figure out how to use the walkie-talkie – she gives up. But after
hearing a strange noise (3 times), the guard investigates and this gets him a
meeting with Michael Myers. (Is it me, or are all guards in horror films, fat?)

730. A cop, a dentist and Loomis all look at the burned body and the dentist tells them
the body is from a very young man. Loomis knows it can’t be Michael Myers and
so asks cops, who agree, to one last sweep of the city.

731. Looters attack Michael Myers’ house since they have now found out who killed
their citizens. The cop (Mr. Hunt) and Loomis arrive to check the house out.
Loomis retells the story of Michael Myers killing his sister in 1963, then tells us
of how Michael Myers acted in the asylum: quiet, unassuming.

732. 2 boys walk up saying their body, Ben Traymer, is missing, who’s a similar age to
the deceased kid – hey, wasn’t that to be Laurie’s date at the dance? The cops
hear of some vandalism at the local elementary school and they are off.

733. Carol hears the calls of a patient (via the call button) and she goes to check it out.
Inside, she finds Bud who wants some sex. She agrees to a trip to the spa – I
sure hope if I’m ever in the hospital, I don’t end up here – what sort of treatment
is this by vanishing nurses?

734. Laurie is having dreams on Michael Myers and of her foster mother.

735. Carol undresses and meets Bud in the spa, naked. Nice body! Michael Myers
then alters the spa temperature so it's very hot. Bud goes to check on it (hey, no
strange noise this time!) and meets with Michael Myers and a piano wire (where
did they get a piano anyway?). Michael Myers walks outside and shoves Carol’s
head into the boiling water. Her skin starts to peel away as she dies – funny but
Michael Myers hands do go into the water and he doesn’t suffer at all – or is that
he does but we don’t get the pleasure of seeing that?

736. Loomis and Hunt go to the school where they see defaced desks and a knife stuck
in a picture of a family – Loomis sees a connection to Michael Myers’ sister.
A Celtic word, Samhain, is scribbled on the chalk board (only part 6, will ever try to
find a connection between the druids and Michael Myers).

737. Mary Chambers (I think this is the nurse from the beginning of part 1) visits
Loomis and tells him he has been ordered back to the Asylum by Dr. Rogers –
Loomis refuses but a Marshall is there to escort them both.

738. Security cameras at the hospital show Michael Myers as he walks the empty halls
looking for Laurie. Jimmy finds Laurie but sees her a bit comatose so he sends
Janet to look for our drunk Doctor (Dr. Mixter).. But Janet finds a deceased doc
and then she also meets the same fate – both via the old hypodermic to the eye trick.

739. Jimmy meanwhile has gone for help and our last living nurse hears the patient call
button. Michael Myers meanwhile ahs reached Laurie’s room. He then stabs her,
over and over again. Oh the humanity! Oh wait, she’s gone.

740. Laurie is limping down the hallway but Michael Myers is still searching.

741. Laurie grabs a phone but then remembers she can’t make any calls – I think she
forgot she needed to call 10-10-321.

742. Loomis, Mary and Marshall are off for the school now.

743. Remaining living nurse finds the guard’s hat but can’t find him. She begins her
search as we see Michael Myers on the security camera. She follows the same
way he went and we see her on the camera too. She meets up with Jimmy, and
Michael Myers listens in.

744. Jimmy finds Janet but she’s hooked up to a table with blood spilling out of her.
Then he slips on her blood (a la “Dead Alive”) and gets knocked out.

745. Living nurse goes to her car to get help but finds not only won’t it start but all cars
in the lot have punctured tires. So in a very un-smart move she decides to
re-enter the hospital.

746. Laurie crawls out of hiding and meets with the nurse. But Michael Myers has
been paying attention and he kills the nurse. Laurie now found, runs for he life.
Oh, but Michael Myers is close behind. As she runs down a flight of stairs,
Michael Myers takes his sweet time (I always wonder why that is they walk so
slow. You’d figure if they liked to kill for the sake of killing they’d at least try to
make sure that the victim didn’t accidentally kill herself via falling down the
stairs or such).

747. Laurie finds the dead guard, then Michael Myers as he has caught up.
Laurie escapes by climbing up some pipes, into an adjoining room and then makes it to
the elevator before Michael Myers can make it.

748. Laurie makes it into the parking lot where she hides in a car.

749. Loomis and the other 2 are riding along out of town. Loomis tells them of druid
history when Mary interrupts to tell Loomis of the secret truth of Michael Myers –
that Laurie is his sister. She was born 2 years before Michael Myers was committed.

750. Loomis immediately takes the car by force – warning shot through the windshield
and they are on their way to the hospital.

751. Jimmy goes into his car to drive away, when he finds Laurie. But that slip did a
lot of damage for he’s out – the car too!

752. Loomis makes it to the clinic with Laurie screaming from the lot but not loud
enough. The 3 spread out around the hospital (yeah, that’s smart!) and Laurie is
now chased by Michael Myers.

753. Laurie makes it into the hospital and Michael Myers is right behind, even walking
through the glass doors. Loomis shoots him 5 times (it was 5) and Michael
Myers falls down. Mary goes to call for help but Michael Myers kills the
Marshall who without thinking properly, kneels beside what he thinks is a dead body.

754. Loomis and Laurie run away and hide in a room, meanwhile Mary calls for help.

755. Michael Myers enters the room via force and Loomis shoots at him, but he’s out
of ammo. Michael Myers throws him against the wall. Laurie tries to talk to
Michael Myers but with that failing, she shoots him twice, in both eyes – his eyes
begin to bleed.

756. Blind, Michael Myers swings at Laurie but isn’t coming close. Loomis starts to
set off all the gas in the room to distract and confuse Michael Myers.

757. Laurie runs away and Loomis, intent on letting no more death occur, lights fire to
the room – it explodes.

758. Michael Myers nevertheless makes it out, though on fire. He then collapses.

759. Sheriff and Hunt talk as Laurie is brought out in a wheelchair.

760. As Laurie is driven off again, she relives the scene of the mask of Michael Myers
burning up.
