12/12/04--It took forever and a day, but I'm back with another update. Might want to take a peek in the MOVIE REVIEWS for "Night Crawlers" and "Brotherhood of Satan".

9/14/03--"I've been idle too long."

Actually, I've been too busy with other things, such as webmastering another site for Paw'd Sqaud Animal Rescue and my job at the veterinary clinic. Anyway, I got off my duff and added a couple new REVIEWS out of the dozens I've yet to write--"House of Whipcord" and "The Dorm That Dripped Blood"--and discovered a couple cool places: Wrestlecrap (after a year, it's back!) and My Cat Hates You. You can find them in the WARP ZONE (area 2). Yep, slowly but surely this site is getting back on its feet after being in a coma for nearly a year!

10/20/02--After more than two years of looking the same, the front page has finally undergone a radical facelift. Some of the sections are no longer directly accessible from the front page, but I still have the old, inactive sections stowed away inside the Vault. Old stuff like the puzzles and the chat room transcripts of nutty characters like MadVendor are still safe and sound, it's just that I'm no longer adding to it. I have enough problems just keeping up with the REVIEWS since I have, ohhhh, like 20 movies that I've watched but haven't discussed yet. 'Nuff talk for now--got to write those reviews!

9/7/02--Two more REVIEWS for the road: "Suspiria" and "Valentine". "Suspiria" is heralded as a classic by some, but does it honestly live up to its reputation? Find out over in my REVIEWS section.

9/6/02--Well, it's been 4 months since I've done any changes, largely because of writer's block and some doubts/decisions about the site's future. I've heard rumors that Yahoo! Geocities will be discontinuing their free hosting service so that discouraged me a bit from working on the site a bit. Also, the design has remained largely unchanged for quite some time now, and somewhere down the road the site will have a major facelift--this will include more pictures, some (soft) sound effects on the mouseovers for a more multimedia experience, and navigational changes for the expanding horror reviews section. Still, I haven't settled on a specific redesign just yet, so that delayed things. Furthermore, I've been devoting quite a bit of time developing a musical ear (when it gets developed enough, there might be a section related to that so others can benefit from it). Enough excuses, I'm back on track and have added 3 more reviews--"The Devonsville Terror", "New Year's Evil", and "Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator"--in the REVIEWS section. I've seen a lot of other horror movies between May 7th and now, and these will be reviewed as soon as possible (wouldn't want to watch these flicks and not write a review about 'em--that'd be a tragic waste of time :D ).

5/7/02--Added 2 new REVIEWS: "Frogs" and "Hatchet for the Honeymoon".

4/28/02--Here's two more in the REVIEWS section: "The Beast of Yucca Flats" and "Sideshow", two horror movies with freaks. One of them actually deserves my zero-dot rating, which is reserved for the very worst. Which one of them will it be? Go on over to the REVIEWS and find out!

4/27/02--Chalked up a couple more horror movies in the REVIEWS section. This time, see how "Vampyros Lesbos" and "Bruiser" measure up.

4/14/02--For your reading pleasure, I've written two wiseass reviews for "Carnivore" and "Mangler 2" in the REVIEWS section.

3/18/02--Added a review for "Pieces" in the REVIEWS section and two more links to the WARP ZONE, Area 2--one goes to a site full of UGLY people while the other goes to some nutball who likes to dress up like Peter Pan.

3/2/02--Two more for the REVIEWS section--"The St. Francisville Experiment" and "The House That Screamed 2: Hellgate". One of them really reeks. Which one is it? Get over to the REVIEWS section and find out before the suspense dies out. :)

2/24/02--After a couple months of sanity leave, I'm back with a couple more REVIEWS ("Pitch Black" and "Santa Claws"), with plenty more to come!

12/15/01--Damn it! Sites seem to be dropping off like flies nowadays. I had to get rid of a dead link in the WARP ZONE, but fortunately I've found a couple sites to replace it. Check out the Insanity Test, and if you feel bad for failing it, there's another (unmarked) site that will hopefully bring your spirits up. >;D

12/09/01--Added two more REVIEWS--"Ed Gein" and "Horror Hospital". Just a few more and I would reach the 250-reviews milestone.

12/07/01--Some of the sections were starting to look a little...oh, what's that perfect word...Crappy. Not one to sit on my laurels (that is if I had any), I've spruced things up considerably in the SURVEYS, the SPECIAL THANKS, and even the defunct MUSEUM section.

11/30/01--New REVIEWS two very different horror movies--"Shiver of the Vampires" and "Invisible Maniac". Read 'em and weep.

11/24/01--While this is after the fact, the site has moved to a slightly different URL. I'm not too happy about it because I have to resubmit the site through search engines and ask some webmasters to update their links. Until that's all said and done, the site will just be sitting here collecting dust.

On the lighter side of things, there's a new REVIEW (for "Killer Workout") and the guestbook page has a neat facelift. I'm trying out some free message boards, until I finally find one that doesn't suck.

11/10/01--After coming out of my shell (hey, that 109-year old hacker and Pez Hat from my GUESTBOOK are scary peeps), I summoned the courage to write up the REVIEWS for "The Fury" and "The Stay Awake". Man, it's nice not reviewing something Charlie Brown average for once. For a while, I felt I was doomed to write waffling opinions on two-star horror flicks and give nothing but the average 6-dot rating. Why can't they just make a bunch that are really bad and a bunch that are really good? It would make my pasttime more worthwhile. Lucky me, this time I did one that deserves my 2-dot rating (basically reserved for crap that gives crap a bad name, but not as much as the 1-dot or eek no-dot ratings). Which one will it be? "The Fury"? Or "The Stay Awake"? Dammit, go to the REVIEWS section and see for yourself!

9/23/01--Finished the REVIEW for "Ghost in the Machine" and also one which I have been meaning to get to for some time: "Puppet Master".

9/3/01--Posted a review for the original "Silent Night, Deadly Night" movie, with "Ed Gein" and "Ghost in the Machine" soon to follow.

The new homepage is still in the works. Right now, the big obstacle is finding the right sound effects and a Javascript that will check to see if the sound card is already being used by something else (so I don't piss off someone by overloading their sound system).

8/18/01--I posted my first online review for a sneak preview (John Carpenter's "Ghost of Mars").

Also in the works is a new version of the homepage. I've innovated a means of graphic compression that will shave off 10 KB without adversely affecting things. This will significantly reduce the loading time for modem users (about 5 sec. faster for a 28.8K-modem), but rather than just speed it up a bit, I'm using the freed space for mouseover sound effects to create a more multimedia feel!

8/11/01--Added a new link in the WARP ZONE to the Asian Prince. It's hilarious, but I'm only 98% sure that he's trying to be funny.
