Standing at the edge of: Your own subsconscious, things you've long buried, hidden talents, or other matters that often get overlooked. The abyss goes on seemingly forever into darkness, and can be very frightening, even as discovering your own true nature can be frightening until you take the first step.
ACCIDENT
Causing an accident: Guilt surrounding a situation for which you feel directly responsible, even if that feeling is unwarranted. Alternatively, working out hostility toward a person or situation through dream imagery.
ACROBATICS

Balance, initiative, an sustained energy through physically trying circumstances.
Feeling as if you're jumping through proverbial hoops to please others or meet their expectations.
Walking a tightrope: A delicate situation with some implied danger, depending on your level of skill.
Contortionists: Having the truth or your sense of reality somehow twisted.
Tumbling: Being able to "roll with the punches" and still land on your feet.
ACTING
Life's roles: Shakespeare intimated that life was a stage, making dreams the theater of the mind. Here, you can act out various "parts" to literally walk in someone else's shoes try out options, or get different perspectives.
Sensing that you, or someone you know, have been putting on airs instead of being real with people.
AIRPLANE, AIRPORT

Movement and transition, similar to other vehicles (see Car, Horse, Spaceship). Where the plane goes, its log, or other passengers on board (if any) may give you more clues here.
If you're in the plane, enroute, this can be considered a type of flying or ascent dream.
A plane that sits endlessly on the runway indicates a life that has somehow become stagnant, or one that is being held back by outside influences. Check to see who, or what, resides in the control tower!
Being lost at the airport, or looking for someone there, characterizes confusion caused by getting one's signals crossed, or through poor planning. Make sure you have your information straight, get organized, then readdress this situation.
Waiting at the airport, surrounded by strangers, and never being met by the anticipated party is a type of desertion dream.

BAGGAGE

If the baggage is overly heavy, you may be carrying too great a load physically or emotionally. If the luggage is old and worn, likely the burden is one from the past that you have never put down.
Review the size, shape, and color of the suitcase. These may be subtle emblems with deeper meanings. For example, round suitcases filled to overflowing might symbolize fertility or abundance.
Lost Baggage: Releasing a hardship or responsibility.
Baggage left with you: The feeling that someone dumped her/his obligations on your doorstep.
BALCONY

Consider the context of the dream first. For example, there is nothing unusual about walking barefoot on the beach, but walking barefoot on a roadway might indicate exposing oneself to harm.
Sensitivity: Feeling the grass between your toes, and really experiencing life to th fullest.
Freedom and liberation: Tossing off your shoes is like being released from a cage or other material bonds.
Fire-walking barefoot reveals an ability within to accomplish any task to which you set your mind, no matter how impossible it may initially seem.
BAT
An ability to travese "darkness" of a figurative nature,but one that may not be recognized. Native Americans believe these creatures are guides because of their uncanny navigation abilities. See where the bat is taking you, and watch closely the path by which you go.
If the bat is you, or you have bata wings, it's likely a type of flying dream.
In Babylonia and South Africa, bats are thought to carry souls. So this might be an Out-of-Body Experience, or a message from a departed person.

CABBAGE

Because of its color and shape, this is an alterntive moon or circle emblem.
Moodiness. In earlier days, eating this item was believed to cause sullenness or irritability. However, the Greeks reversed this concept and claimed eathing cabbage could cure this problem. The rest of the dream will have to delineate which interpretive outlook is correct.
An an omen, this portends decreasing finances.
Historically, cabbage was often the food of peasants.
CACTUS

Metaphorically, prickly situations that require careful handling.
Protection and safety. The needles on this plant may speak of your own need for protection, or possibly they represent the armor you place between yourself and the world.
Unexpected refreshment from an equally unexpected source. In the desert, cacti are an alternative source of water.
CAKES

Labors that result in favorable outcomes, especially if the cake rises.
Something that's easy, possibly too easy (e.g., a "piece of cake").
Eating cake alone can reveal selfishness, or bing out of touch with the needs of others.
Eating cake with other may be a type of initiation, or another sacred ritual. Specially prepard cakes feature predominately in many such pagan observances.
Birthday cakes are an emblem of celebration and wishes. This may be an actual memory surfacing, so look to see who else appears in the dreams. Count the candles on the cake for numerical significance, and see who is joining in the festivities.
CALENDAR

Systematic approaches and arrangements that maintain a steady flow of work, creativity, etc.
The date that appears on the calendar is usually of great import. Pay attention to it, and check its numerological significance, if you don't immediately recognize the meaning.
CANDLE

Illumination, understanding, or enlightenment. The quest to understand spiritual matters.
A candle being lit represents a new beginning, whereas an extinguished candle symbolizes the passing of the old.
Fear of an early death or growing old.
Spiritual presences. A winding sheet or blue flame on the candle, according to folklore, speaks of ghostly company. This might be a departed loved one, an angel, or even your Higher Self trying to communicate (see Ghost).
Ideas or Ideals. Suddenly experiencing comprehension (having the proverbial "light bulb" go on).
A clear burnin flame on a candle indicated the presence of devoted friends, or constancy in self.
