D'Lo Brown (w/ Tazz promo) vs. Buh Buh Ray Dudley (w/ D-Von Dudley); D-Von interferes. Backstage, Too Cool agrees to help Rikishi make the MSP pay. Review of recent Triple H/Cactus Jack antics. Backstage, Tori hears Kaientai speaking Japanese and freaks out. Hardcore Holly (w/ Crash Holly and scale), Chyna (C, w/ Miss Kitty Kat [C]), and Chris Jericho (C) all have an in-ring confrontation and decide on a triple threat match between the three of them for the IC title at the Rumble. Backstage, Kane beats up Kaientai. The Mean Street Posse vs. Rikishi Phatu/Too Cool; dancing follows.
"Hello, everybody, and welcome to Sunday Night HeAT! And what a wild week its been in the World Wrestling Federation! Kevin, we've seen the return of Cactus Jack, and we've seen serious tension between the Rock and the Big Show!"
"The metamorphosis of Cactus Jack is complete, but what does it mean for Triple H at the Royal Rumble?"

"And its been a great week within Christian's family; his brother Edge, congratulations! The announcement of his engagement to Val Venis's sister, Alanna!"

KURT ANGLE: "Please... give me one minute, just one minute, please."
CHRISTIAN (watching impatiently): "Come on..."
CROWD (to Angle): "Asshole! Asshole! Asshole!"
ANGLE (pacing about): "I'm sure all of you know, I am still the ONLY undefeated wrestler here in World Wrestling Federation."
(Angle takes a bow as the crowd jeers)
ANGLE: "And many of the boys, these fine wrestlers, are gunning for me, trying to break my unbeaten streak."
(cameras catch Christian making sarcastic faces)
ANGLE: "For instance, Christian!"
(Christian leans back against a turnbuckle and gives Angle a decisive nod)
ANGLE: "Now Christian, I know this has to be one of the biggest nights of your life!" (Christian stares) "The possibility of ending an Olympic hero's unbeaten streak would be a phenomenal task."
CROWD (loudly): "Asshole! Asshole! Asshole!"
MICHAEL COLE (noting the intensity of the chant): "Wow."
ANGLE (getting annoyed): "You know what? Just forget it! I will prove to ALL of you what I can do, on THIS mat, RIGHT NOW!"
"Angle sucks! Angle sucks! Angle sucks!"

"As Mick Foley tasted his own blood, that seemed to be the elixir that brought back Cactus Jack!"

"It's over! The undefeated streak's over, Kevin! Christian planted him!"

"As Steve Blackman and Edge battled on the outside, Christian landed his finishing maneuver. The slugfest distracted the referee and allowed Angle time, just time enough, to recover. Kurt Angle is a tremendous athlete, but so is Christian. Angle's lucky he survived and got the victory."
