5-2-99 (HeAT)
The New Age Outlaws enter for a match against Mark Henry and D'Lo, Ivory trailing behind as always. Mark Henry is in charge early, but Road Dogg breaks away and gets BABG in the ring. Road Dogg gives Henry a nice kneedrop. Prince Albert and Droz run out and lock up with D'Lo and Henry; they battle off into the crowd as the Outlaws remain in the ring. Road Dogg gets the mic and tells Billy he owes X-Pac an apology. Billy agrees. X-Pac comes out and they all appear to make up. Road Dogg starts to leave, but as soon as he does, Gunn attacks X-Pac again. The Road Dogg rushes back to make the save, but Kane enters. Gunn runs off and Road Dogg tries to help his fallen friend. Kane sees Road Dogg and chokeslams him furiously, then helps X-Pac up. X-Pac is upset when he sees that Kane hurt his buddy, and reluctantly leaves the ring.
5-3-99 (RAW)
Bad Ass defeats X-Pac in a singles match. When Gunn continues to attack X-Pac after the pinfall, Road Dogg runs out and they get in a fight. Kane enters, and Gunn hotfoots it out of there. Kane carries X-Pac to the backstage area; I don't think he chokeslammed Road Dogg this time.
5-9-99 (HeAT)
Kane and X-Pac are fighting the Acolytes. Gunn runs in and attacks X-Pac, and Kane chases him backstage. The Road Dogg comes in to subsitute for Kane, but the Acolytes absolutely kick his ass. Viscera, the Big Bossman, and Mideon all attack the fallen X-Pac and Road Dogg. The Union runs in after the Corporate Ministry and clear them out. Kane comes back to the ring and retrieves X-Pac. Later in the evening, Lucas interviews the Road Dogg on his upcoming match with Triple H. Road Dogg says he isn't 100% but is looking forward to settling D-X's "family problems." Road Dogg favors his ribs throughout the match. Gunn runs in but Road Dogg knocks him off the apron. Chyna distracts the Road Dogg, and Triple H hits the pedigree and pinfall. Gunn and Triple H glare at each other briefly, and then BABG attacks the Road Dogg. Kane comes in, and Gunn runs off in terror. Kane decides, what the hell, and picks up the Road Dogg to chokeslam him. X-Pac races in and convinces Kane not to do it.
5-10-99 (RAW)
Kane and Billy Gunn are fighting early in the evening when Gunn somehow gets Kane tangled in the ring ropes or something. Whatever's happened, Kane is trapped and BABG starts beating the bejeezus out of him. X-Pac tries to help Kane, Road Dogg goes after Gunn, and D'Lo and Henry run down to get them a piece of the action as well.
5-16-99 (HeAT)
The Road Dogg defeats Hardcore Holly in a hardcore match. Surprisingly, when the Road Dogg does his mic work, he states coldly that he is NOT representing the New Age Outlaws. As he and Holly mix it up, Al Snow comes down with Head and his mounted deer head Pierre. Pierre has an eyepatch on and the Hardcore belt wrapped around his head. Road Dogg eventually gets the win after hitting Holly with a chair. Al starts arguing with the ref for some reason, which leads to Holly destroying Pierre while Snow isn't looking.
5-17-99 (RAW)
X-Pac, the Road Dogg, and Kane take on Bad Ass Billy Gunn, D'Lo Brown, and Mark Henry with Ivory. Road Dogg and X-Pac enter to D-X music, while Kane comes down on his own. RD and X-Pac get their butts kicked for a while, but RD eventually regains the momentum. X-Pac gets an X-factor on D'Lo but Gunn makes the save; Kane's double chokeslam attempt on D'Lo and Henry is stopped by Gunn also. Road Dogg and Gunn end up battling to the back, while Kane and X-Pac take on Henry and D'Lo in the crowd.
5-23-99 (HeAT)
No Road Dogg.
5-23-99 (PPV: Over the Edge)
Of course, this pay-per-view was marred by the tragic death of Owen Hart. It was the third match of the night. The very next match involved Owen's tag team partner Jeff and the match after that was the Road Dogg's. I have not seen this program so I don't know how things went down or what the mood was. I do know, however, that Bad Ass Billy Gunn defeated the Road Dogg.
5-24-99 (RAW)
A beautiful and moving two-hour tribute to Owen Hart. The Road Dogg comes down to fight the Godfather. He does his usual schtick but adds that sometimes he doesn't understand this world, and it's not about him tonight, it's about The King of Harts. The Godfather and his ladies arrive, and the Godfather suggests that instead of beating on each other, they take the hos downtown and "light it up" all night for Owen. Road Dogg agrees and they all leave together. A bit later, Road Dogg does a pre-recorded interview about Owen, as most of the stars had. He says that it will be very difficult to speak about Owen, and mentions how alike they were. Road Dogg says that he is praying for Owen's family, and that Owen is loved and will be missed. As Jeff Jarrett did earlier
5-30-99 (HeAT)
The Big Bossman is kicking X-Pac's ass in a King of the Ring qualifying match. Finally X-Pac pins him, but Bossman continues the assault. The Road Dogg comes out to help X-Pac, but the Acolytes show up and overwhelm him. Kane then arrives and takes out the Acolytes. Road Dogg does a backstage interview and challenges the Big Bossman to a match the next night.
5-31-99 (RAW)
The Big Show and Mr. Ass go at it. Gunn eventually leaves the ring to quit the match, but the Road Dogg comes out, hits him, and throws his ass back into the ring to get chokeslammed by the Big Show! Later on, Bossman is already mixing it up with Mankind when Road Dogg comes out for his match. Bossman hits a sidewalk slam but walks right into the shake, rattle, and roll, which Road Dogg follows up with the kneedrop. Bossman delivers a painful spinebuster to Road Dogg and grabs his nightstick. Road Dogg punches him and tries a sunset flip, but Bossman smacks him with the nightstick and the match ends.
