8-1-99 (HeAT)
Road Dogg isn't on.

8-2-99 (RAW)
With X-Pac still out, the Road Dogg is teaming with Kane against the Undertaker and the Big Show. Road Dogg is shown backstage trying to talk with Kane, but Kane ignores him. When the match gets started, it becomes brawl quickly. The Undertaker throws Road Dogg out of the ring, and Kane gets a DDT on the Undertaker. As Big Show misses an elbow on Kane, Road Dogg comes back in and gets thrown into the corner. Kane prevents Undertaker from chokeslamming RD. The Road Dogg is soon isolated, however, and as Kane paces restlessly outside the ring, Road Dogg is demolished by Undertaker and Big Show. Road Dogg finally manages to low-blow them both and tag out to Kane, who gives Undertaker a boot to the face followed by a chokeslam. The Road Dogg goes after Big Show with a chair, but ends up getting hit with it himself. Kane goes to tombstone his brother, but is distracted by Big Show. Undertaker then tombstones Kane and gets the pin. Afterward, Road Dogg comes back into the ring to check on Kane and gets chokeslammed by the Big Show.

8-8-99 (HeAT)
Road Dogg is shown talking to an unresponsive Kane in the back, and later we seen them walking towards the ring. The Road Dogg and Kane take on the Acolytes for the tag team titles. Road Dogg comes down on his own, but before Kane can come down, the Acolytes rush in, kick Road Dogg's ass, knock him out, and roll him out of the ring. Kane comes out and does fairly well. Hardcore Holly comes down, indicating that he will substitute for Road Dogg. After tagging himself in, however, Holly begins to attack Kane. Kane siezes him by the throat, bu the Acolytes begin beating Kane up before he can get the chokeslam. Holly then turns on the Acolytes and is promptly destroyed. Road Dogg starts to get up outside, but gets knocked out again. Big Show and Undertaker are shown watching the brawl from backstage, and the fight ends up a no contest.

8-9-99 (RAW)
The Rock begins the evening by insulting the Big Show. TBS and 'Taker come down and start beating him up. X-Pac runs out to try and help the Rock, but also gets beat up. The same thing happens when the Road Dogg runs in moments later. Finally Kane comes out and throws both the Big Show and the Undertaker over the top rope. They leave. Later in the evening, Kane and X-Pac win the tag team championship from the Acolytes. Road Dogg comes out to celebrate with them, and Kane speaks without his electronic voice gadget for the first time. Finally, the Road Dogg faces off against hardcore champ the Big Bossman. Although Road Dogg wins (I'm not sure how), he doesn't get the title since it was a non-title fight.

8-15-99 (HeAT)
Road Dogg isn't on.

8-16-99 (RAW)
The Road Dogg matches up against Al Snow. This is a short and screwjobbed match. Al has Lawler hold Pepper for him. Al and Road Dogg lock up; Road Dogg gets bodyslammed but moves in time to miss getting hit by the moonsault. The Road Dogg is rolling but accidentally stuns the ref with a punch. Bossman takes advantage of that to run in and knock out Snow with a nightstick. Bossman then hits Road Dogg in the stomach with it. Road Dogg collapses atop Snow's fallen form. The ref wakes up, sees that, and gives Road Dogg the victory by pinfall.

8-22-99 (HeAT)
I don't have this one on tape, but I'm fairly certain Road Dogg wasn't on.

8-22-99 (PPV: Summerslam)
The Road Dogg comes out in street clothes just before the Hardcore title match between the Big Bossman and Al Snow. He challenges the winner to put the belt on the line against him on RAW tomorrow. Chris Jericho suddenly appears and roundly insults RD. Road Dogg responds by calling Jericho a bitch and telling him to "suck it." The Road Dogg then briefly joins J.R. and Lawler to do commentary on the Hardcore match. When the match goes backstage, Road Dogg grabs a mic and follows. He does roving commentary all through the backstage area, and follows the match into a local bar. At one point towards the end of the match, the Big Bossman threatens Road Dogg. Roadie responds by knocking Bossman out with his nightstick and allowing Snow to get the pin.

8-23-99 (RAW)
The Road Dogg enters the ring brandishing a steel chair, ready for his hardcore title match against Al Snow. He gets a huge pop. Al Snow runs in and attacks Road Dogg with the belt. Road Dogg gets knocked outside the ring and beaten on some more. While RD is stunned, Al keeps himself busy by pulling out some tables and whatnot from under the ring. Al then hits Road Dogg directly over the head with the sheet in what looks to be a very stiff shot, and Roadie goes down like a ton of bricks. We see Pepper at ringside for the match. As Road Dogg comes to and checks to see if he's bleeding, Snow gets him onto a table and chokes him. Al sets up a closed ladder at ringside and jumps onto the apron, planning to tip forward on the ladder and then smash RD through the table. Road Dogg rolls off the table at the last instant but it doesn't matter anyway, as Snow loses his balance and falls over backwards when the ladder hits the table. Road Dogg powerbombs Al through the table as Chris Jericho runs out. As they fight to the back, Big Bossman knocks out Al with a nightstick shot and kidnaps Pepper. As refs break up Road Dogg and Jericho, Bossman comes by with Pepper and clobbers Road Dogg on the back of the head with the nightstick. Later in the evening, Howard Finkel comes out at Jericho's encouragement and challenges Road Dogg. Road Dogg enters to slightly modified music ("Oh, you didn't know? Finkel, your ass better call somebody!) and gets in the ring. He can't believe Finkel's serious and continues to laugh at the Fink, even after getting shoved twice. Finally he grabs Fink by the shirt; the Y2J clock starts up. The whole place goes black. When the lights come up seconds later, Finkel is gone and Jericho is already in the ring and behind the Road Dogg! Jericho attacks RD and double powerbombs him. Jericho then spat on the Road Dogg before arrogantly leaving the ring.

8-26-99 (SmackDown!)
The Road Dogg and Chris Jericho face off. As the match is about to commence, the Road Dogg directs a crotch chop Jericho's way, which gets a nice crowd ovation. Jericho is knocked out to ringside early, but reverses an Irish whip and puts the Road Dogg back-first into the steps. Jericho tumbles RD back into the ring and goes to the top rope, but Road Dogg hits the ropes to force Jericho off-balance. Jericho lands painfully on his balls, and Road Dogg does a superplex that seeems to hurt RD as much as it does Jericho. Jericho regains momentum with an assist from the Fink and gets a backbreaker and a double-arm tiltawhirl into a backbreaker in quick succession. Jericho then sets up a table in the ring and tries to suplex Road Dogg into it. Instead, Road Dogg DDTs him. Road Dogg holding his lower back for most of the match and looks to be hurting. RD gets a nearfall, but Jericho does a double powerbomb and puts Road Dogg through the table (DQ for Jericho). Jericho then puts Road Dogg into the Walls of Jericho (liontamer) submission hold. He eventually breaks it only to put it on again. Poor Road Dogg is out like a light, and J.R. later reports he is getting medical attention. Don't worry, fans; Road Dogg is not actually hurt. This "injury" was planned so he could take some time off to cut a CD (the rehab rumors were false, BTW).

8-29-99 (HeAT)
Road Dogg isn't on.

8-30-99 (RAW)
Clips of Chris Jericho beating the crap out of the Road Dogg on last Thursday's Smackdown, and a report that he'll be out for a while.
