***The warehouse***
Now I bet your wondering why we came back to Sunnydale after a good ten years killing various multitudes across the globe." Angelus began. "Well, I heard about The University at Sunnydale receiving something I was looking for. With the book that I have acquired we will have the opportunity to free the demon Krakinto. According to the book this means "When old one is freed from his prison he shall, before leaving the Earth to rule the cosmos, give dominion over all on the planet to those that freed him."
Angelus paused to let that sink in. Willow gave a small start at that, Oz seemed totally unfazed, Xander got a peculiar smile across his face, and Buffy gave a very small satisfied smile as she came up beside Angelus.
"Now here is what we will have to do to accomplish this…" Angelus began after the thought had settled in.

David had been busy researching the upcoming threat and worrying. He realized that worrying didn't do any good but he couldn't help it. he questioned himself. < I realized that the council was wrong but I went along anyway.> he continued. "Will I even have a chance to get back her trust?" David asked himself as he finally managed to find the one book that he had here that possessed info on the Calgi Some.
"Well I guess that depends on what you say." He heard from the door.
As he turned his head toward the voice he noticed that Catherine was standing there.
"What do you mean?" He asked softly.
"What I mean is if I give you another chance are you going to tell me the truth and not try to lie to me? Remember David, you aren't exactly the best liar." Catherine replied.
"Alright. What do you want to know?" David questioned.
"How would you like me to begin?" David asked.
"How about telling me why you lied to me." Catherine stated.
"We lied to you because, quite honestly the Watcher's Council has several tests that they put the slayer through that you might find out about if the Council where completely open. These traditions are not pleasant and would definitely discourage the slayer from doing her duty. So it was decided to keep Ms. Summers existence a complete secret under the logic that if you didn't know about her then you wouldn't find out about the traditions." David paused to let the information sink in.
"What are these tests?" Catherine asked slightly cautiously.
"Well for one, the practice has been that when a slayer turned eighteen that her watcher arranged to have her powers taken and then locked in a house with a vampire. Supposedly it was to test the resourcefulness of the slayer by depriving her of her power." David paused before continuing. "I know it doesn't mean anything but I am truly sorry for lying to you."
"I can believe that but I can't trust you considering what the Watcher's Council is like." Catherine replied.
"I realize that, which is why I've decided to quit the council. You'll still need help with research and training. I can help you with those as not to many other can." David stated.
"Really? How can I believe that?" Catherine returned with only a hint of accusation in her voice.
"I'm afraid you'll just have to believe me." David answered as he turned toward her. As Catherine looked at him something in his eyes seemed to say that this was true so she let it pass.
"Alright, I'll give you another chance. Though if you ever lie to me like this again I can't afford to give you a third chance. Despite what's happening I'll probably need help with research and I know I will with any further training. I agreed to do this. I couldn't turn it down, but I need to be able to trust you." Catherine said silently.
