LARRY KING'S PEOPLE

By Larry King

As you probably know, Al Pacino and I have developed a very close friendship. So you can say that I'm partial when it comes to his work.

But anybody who sees "Devil's Advocate" (and everyone should see it) will have to marvel at his incredible portrayal of God's strongest foe. The film has everything: The more I think about it, the more I think about it. And the cast supporting him is terrific.

If you don't love "Devil's Advocate", rush to your cardiologist because there is no pulse.

I asked Al about stories that he and co-star Keanu Reeves did not get along.

"That's absolutely untrue," Al said. "We didn't socialize, but there's a lot of people I've worked with over years that I didn't socialize with but liked a lot. I never had one bad moment with Keanu."

Al Added, "I think he has a lot of ability, and I encouraged him to do some stage work. Naturally, he's a big star, so it's a cut in pay to do it. But it would be a great experience for him, and I think he's going to do it."

Al, who left the imprints of his hands and feet in the cement outside Mann's Chinese Theater last week, will also be honored at the annual Italian-American gala Saturday in Washington.
