Zarnok Butt Blaster
Model: Zarnok Engineering "Blaster" Type: Old Blaster Pistol Scale: Character Skill: Archaic Guns: Blasters Ammo: 10 Cost: originally: 3,000 credits, now: 75 credits Availability: Almost everywhere Fire Rate: 1 Range: 2-15/40/90 Damage: 5D Game Notes: One of Zarnok's first blaster weapons. Zarnok engineering was one of the first companies to make "blasters", this model is older, and is now called the Butt Blaster due to its tremendous heat output, so when you set it to a low power setting all you get is a lot of heat. Pirates would often use Butt Blasters to shoot people in the butt with because they cause so much pain. Now they're used as normal weapons by a lot of the smaller groups of pirates. Due to the butt blaster's extreme heat, the most amount of times you can use it is 4, after that, you have to wait one turn or two rounds to cool it off. |
Calban Model X
Model: Calban Model X Heavy Blaster Pistol Type: Heavy blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: heavy blaster pistol Ammo: 30 Cost: 835 (power packs: 25) Availability: 3, R or X Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-5/25/60 Damage: 5D+1 The Calban Model X heavy blaster pistol is superior to the famous DL-44 in many ways, it not only packs more of a punch, but is capable of more shots and has sufficiently greater range. The Model X is a fairly rare weapon, and anyone selling one may charge a bit more than the suggested retail price due to it's rarity. Ryan Matheny (darkweji@gte.net)

Merr-Sonn DD6
Model: Merr-Sonn DD6 Blaster Pistol Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistol Ammo: 90 Cost: 460 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2, R or X Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-10/30/110 Damage: 4D+1 The Merr-Sonn DD6 blaster pistol is a fairly common weapon used by many private militias as a standard issue sidearm. Many officers in the Celcrian Defense force choose the DD6 over the BlasTech DL-18 due to an impressive track record. The DD6 rarely needs repairing and works in even the most hostile conditions. BlasTech
DH-17 Imperial Blaster
Model: BlasTech DH-17 Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistols Ammo: 100 Cost: 525 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2 X Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-10/10/120 Damage: 4D An completely unremarkable pistol, the DH-17 is sold only
to the Imperial Navy and (to a much lesser degree) Army. It has only one
major grace: It is nearly identical to the E11 blaster rifle. The controls
and maintenance drills are identical between the two, with many of the
parts, including the trigger group and action, interchangeable. It may
not be fitted with the barrels for the E-11 and E-14, however.

BlasTech DL-19
Model: BlasTech DL-19 Blaster Pistol Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistol Ammo: 90 Cost: 515 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2, R or X Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-10/30/115 Damage: 4D+1 The BlasTech DL-19 was an attempt by BlasTech to create a blaster pistol that rivals the Merr-Sonn DD6 in firepower (which is slightly more powerful than the DL-18 and sells almost as well). The slightly improved firepower of the DL-19 over the DL-18 comes at the sacrifice of ten shots due to the extra power drain placed on the clip. Most prefer having the extra ten shots over the marginally improved stopping power. In comparison with the Merr-Sonn DD6, the BlasTech DL-19 is almost identical. The only real difference between the two (besides physical appearance) is that the BlasTech DL-19 tends to handle a bit better a long ranges, but not enough to make any real difference. The DL-19 has never really sold well in competition with the DD6, even though it boasts the infamous BlasTech name and has better range. This is mainly because the DL-19 costs up to 55 credits more than the DD6 on average. Ryan Matheny (darkweji@gte.net)

Stun Pistol
Model: BlasTech DL-22 Stun Pistol Type: Stun pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: Blaster Pistol Ammo: 100 Cost: 250 (power packs: 25) Availability: 4, X Range: 3-10/30/120 Damage: 4D (stun) The BlasTech DL-22 stun pistol is the base version of the DL-23 Electro Pulse Pistol (EPP) designed specifically for stunning. It is not widely used, mainly because most blasters have a separate stun setting. The only main advantage of the DL-22 is the low cost. It is most commonly used by poorer street thugs who can't quite afford a real blaster. Ryan Matheny (darkweji@gte.net)

BlasTech DL-225
Model: BlasTech DL-225 Heavy Blaster Pistol Type: Heavy blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: heavy blaster pistol Ammo: 25 Cost: 790 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2, R or X Range: 3-8/30/55 Damage: 5D The BlasTech DL-225 heavy blaster pistol is a small step up from the infamous DL-44. It features slightly better range while offering the stun setting switch within reach of the user's thumb, it was near the front of the barrel on the DL-44. In appearance the DL-225 is a bit more streamlined than the DL-44. The handle is shaped to fit so that most humanoids may comfortably wield the weapon, unlike the "universal" rounded handle on the DL-44. The DL-225 is three centimeters longer, with an extended main body to hold a bit more tibanna gas. The pirate Urias Xhaxin, captain of the pirate frigate Free Lance, proudly keeps a DL-225 at his side. Ryan Matheny (darkweji@gte.net)

Electro Pulse Pistol
Model: BlasTech DL-23 EPP Type: Blaster Pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: Blaster Pistol Ammo: 100 Cost: 2,500 (power packs: 100) Availability: 4, X Range: 3-10/30/120 Damage: 5D Game Notes: The weapon fires a stun bolt and normal blaster bolt in rapid succession. When a character is hit with the weapon the stun bolt causes the character to be at -1D Strength for the rest of the round, then the 5D damage from the normal blaster bolt takes effect. |
Pulse Blaster
Model: BlasTech DL-24 Type: Pulse blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: pistol Ammo: 50 Cost: 2,000 (power packs: 25) Availability: 3, X Range: 3-10/30/90 Damage: 5D/4D+2/4D The DL-24 is a modified version of the DL-23 EPP minus the alternating stun shot. In addition, the actual structure of the gun was changed slightly to insure maximum firepower. The DL-24 fires a pulse instead of a standard bolt which delivers more damage at close ranges than a standard blaster pistol. The only drawback is that the pulse weakens with range. Compact Blaster
Pistol
Model: BlasTech DL-30 Compact Blaster Pistol Type: Small frame blaster pistol Skill: Blaster: blaster pistols Ammo: 75 Cost: 500 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2 F,R, or X Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-10/25/60 Damage 4D The BlasTech DL-30 is one of the more popular models around, and one of the hardest to find. It is no less powerful than the DL-18 or Merr-Sonn M-44, but it is smaller. The powercell port has been moved into the butt of the pistol, and fitted with a barrel a little shorter than that of the M-44, giving it a very short overall length. This has made it popular with individuals who carry a concealed sidearm, including CorSec, the Sector Rangers and many bounty hunters. It is also one of the more common sidearms issued to Stormtroopers, and is standerd issue to Imperial Intellignece's Internal Security and Counterintelligence Branches. BlasTech
DL-35 Variable Output Blaster
Model: BlasTech DL-35 Variable Output Blaster Pistol Type: Adjustable output blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistol Blaster: heavy blaster pistol Ammo: 100 Cost: 600 (power packs: 25) Availability: 3, R or X Fire Rate: 1 Range: blaster pistol mode: 3-10/35/120 heavy blaster pistol mode: 3-7/25/50 Damage: blaster pistol mode: 4D heavy blaster pistol mode: 5D Game Notes: Modes: Switching between modes counts as a free action. When in heavy blaster pistol mode, reduce the ammo by 4 for every 1 shot fired. Rolling a mishap results in the weapon overloading, it will explode in 1D rounds causing 5D damage. Seeing the chance to combine two of the most popular hand-held weapons ever created, the blaster pistol and the heavy blaster pistol, BlasTech set out to design a combination weapon that could be switched between the two. The DL-35 is generally only used by those people who prefer the heavy firepower but also understand the need for the extended range that heavy blaster pistols don't offer. To switch between settings, the user must pull down or push up a lever (depending on what it was set to) that is on the butt of the pistol and can be reached with the user's thumb (if they have one). The DL-35 functions because it contains the components of a standard blaster pistol AND the components of a heavy blaster pistol. This makes it quite large, heavy and prone to malfunctions. There has been more than one instance where the weapon has exploded, killing or maiming its user. Ryan Matheny (darkweji@gte.net)

BlasTech DL-44 LE
Model: BlasTech DL-44 LE Type: Limited production heavy blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: heavy blaster pistol Ammo: 10 Cost: 900 (power packs: 25) Availability: 4, R or X Range: 3-10/15/30 Damage: 6D The BlasTech DL-44 LE was a limited edition variant of the DL-44 that was only sold in extremely small numbers (1,064 to be exact). The internal mechanics were revised slightly, giving the weapon as much punch as BlasTech's T-21 light repeater. However, the added punch required a lot more power, limiting the DL-44 LE to only ten shots per power clip. The only stronger blaster pistol currently being manufactured is BlasTech's T-6 Thunderer (6D+2), which is being sold more openly and can readily be found in most major cities. Physically, one cannot tell the standard DL-44 from the DL-44 LE with a simple glance. The only notable difference in appearance is the production number, which is engraved in small numbers on the bottom of the handle. Collectors are eager to pay large sums of credits for any of the first fifty DL-44 LEs to be produced (copies 0001 through 0050), as they make an excellent addition to any weapon collection. Double Blaster
Pistol
Model: none Type: Modified heavy blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: Double blaster pistol Ammo: 20 Cost: Not available for sale (power cells are 40 credits) Availability: Has to be specially made Range: 3-25/50/100 Damage: 7D Game Notes: It only has a difficulty of Easy but before you roll you have to subtract die from your roll to compensate for the phased beam going away. You must subtract 1D for close range, 2D for medium and 2D+4 for long range. Example: Player 1 shoots double blaster pistol at Stormtrooper who is a long ways away." my skill is 6D I have to subtract 2D+4, I rolled 4D to get....15 subtract 4 and I rolled an 11! Only use this weapon if you have a very high blaster rating. |
SoroSuub FastShot
Model: SoroSuub FastShot Type: selective fire blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistols Ammo: 100 Cost: 850 (power packs: 25) Availability: 3, X Fire Rate: up to 5 Range: 3-10/50/150 Damage: 3D+2 A compact piece of ordinance, the FastShot is designed to be used by those you need a LOT of firepower in a small package. Although it's bolt is a little underpowered by most standards, a burst from this puppy will drop nearly anything at point blank range. As such, it has become popular with some body guard organizations and counter-terrorist/hostage rescue teams. Following the basic lines of the traditional blaster pistol, the FastShot differs from he traditional control placement, with he safety being located above the trigger itself, and has ambidextrous levers. found across the galaxy and in the Alliance armed forces. It is merely
a cheap rip off of the famous BlasTech DL-44 heavy blaster pistol but packs
less of a punch, has a shorter range, but is capable of firing 30 rounds
instead of 25.

Merr-Sonn
M-434 DeathHammer
Model: Merr-Sonn M-434 DeathHammer Type: Advanced blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistols Ammo: 40 Cost: 1,500 (power packs: 25) Availablity: 3, X Fire Rate: 1 Range: 4-10/30/120 Damage: 5D+1 Doing for handguns what the BT EKX-10 and the M-S M-435 is doing for shoulder arms, the M-434 DeathHammer froom Merr-Sonn is a very popular pistol with prfessionals. Rumored to be in service with the Emperor's personal Royal Gaurds, it has a capacity only slightly lower than that found in the DL-44, with the longer range normally associated with light pistols, yet with the power of a full sized rifle. It also has another major selling point: no quirks. Period. It is totally reliable under normal conditions, vacume, under water, and even has a 75% relaibility rate in a class 4 radiation zone. Merr-Sonn M44
Model: Merr-Sonn M44 Blaster Pistol Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistols Ammo: 110 Cost: 480 (power packs: 25) Availability: 1, F,R or X Range: 3-10/30/110 Damage: 4D Slighty smaller than the DL-18, it is just as popular. The second most common pistol in service, it is prefered by fighter pilots, tank crews and others that need a slightly more compact weapon, the Merr-Sonn M44 is top quality pistol, easily equal in build and reliabilty to it's BlasTech competitor. NeuroSaav
N176 Blaster Pistol
Model: NeuroSaav N176 Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: blaster pistol Ammo: 100 Cost: 500 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2, R Range: 3-15/25/100 Damage: 4D+1 The NeuroSaav N176 is slightly larger than BlasTech's DL-18 model and packs a little more punch per shot as well. The N176 is often used by heavy weapons specialists in the Alliance as a military sidearm to supplement whatever heavy weapons they may be employing. As a whole, NeuroSaav's blasters have never really sold well when going up against infamous companies such as BlasTech, Merr-Sonn, or SoroSuub, all of which have a fine reputation when it comes to blaster manufacturing. Designer Notes: The N176 was created using the basic stats listed in a blaster table. Original creator of the table unknown as of now. Ryan Matheny (darkweji@gte.net)

XT-1 Blaster Pistol
Model: Kashan Industries XT-1 Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: pistol Ammo: 100 Cost: 790 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2, F Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-12/30/110 Damage: 4D While not as powerful as the military issued XT-1a, the XT-1 is Kashan's most popular selling blaster pistol. Along with the infamous BlasTech DL-18, it is one of the most common blaster pistols to be found in the Palvar Sector. Ryan Matheny (darkweji@gte.net)

Model: Kashan Industries XT-1a Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: pistol Ammo: 110 Cost: 900 (power packs: 25) Availability: 1, X Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-7/25/50 Damage: 4D+1 The XT-1a is the standard firearm issued to Kashan's private corporate military forces. Generally, only standard Kashan Naval officers and command rank Army officers are issued the XT-1a, whereas naval troopers are issued carbines and the limited numbers of army troopers are given either blaster rifles or repeating blasters. XT-2 Extended-Use
Blaster
Model: Kashan Industries XT-2 Type: Blaster pistol Scale: Character Skill: Blaster: pistol Ammo: 170 (requires two power packs) Cost: 900 (power packs: 25) Availability: 2, F Fire Rate: 1 Range: 3-10/30/100 Damage: 4D+2 The XT-2 is a direct descendant of both the XT-1 and XT-1a blaster pistols. Kashan Industries took the body of the XT-1 and moved the power clip lock 45 degrees upward and onto the side of the gun, adding another on the far side of the weapon so that it may draw from a pair of clips at once. Taking the power amplifier from the XT-1a, Kashan was able to increase the power output slightly, making the XT-2 almost as strong as BlasTech's infamous DL-44 heavy blaster pistol.
