In "Charity Begins at Home," as Lois and Clark welcome an old friend of Clark's to town, Lois is puzzled by a sudden change in Clark's normally selfless disposition and becomes alarmed by its effects on Superman. Further complicating matters, two of Superman's arch nemeses tangle with each other as they continue to plot against the super hero. Meanwhile, with talk and plans of baby showers abounding, Lois must deal with a rampaging nemesis of her own -- her mother.
