Beastie Boys
Paul's Boutique
Everybody else can have Licensed to Ill, this is my favorite
Beastie Boys album. The genius of this album actually comes from the Dust
Brothers, who throw everything and anything in so breathlessly. I remember
when this album first came out and the first single, "Hey Ladies"
got me hooked all summer long. This album was a long-awaited follow-up to
the best-selling rap album of all time. The album flopped so bad, I can't
describe the horrible scene. The best song is "5-Piece Chicken Dinner,"
for no other reason than the fact it reminds me of Roscoe's Chicken n'
Waffles, which is a landmark of American cuisine.
