I have no idea why I own this album. I think I bought this completely on
impulse. Maybe I was in a happy, down home, feminine mood. I just don't
know. This was the first country album I bought. I now listen to a lot of
Cash, Lovett and Gillian Welch. Carter, with her radio-friendly songs, do
not fit into their mold. Her songs are nice and pleasant, and I pop the CD
in and listen to a song or two occasionally. I guess I anticipated those
short moments during that mysterious time a while ago when I picked up
this Cand said, "I think I'll buy it."
