Help!
First of all, the song "I Need You" is one of those songs that is a
personal favorite. Most of Help! is subdued and emotional with a
hint of bitterness. That is in contrast to the movie, a trippy experience
where a bunch of Ravi Shankar's friends chase Ringo Starr all over the
world. I'm sure when this idea was pitched, somebody asked "Who will the
hare krishna's obssess over?" and somebody replied "Ringo!" Everybody
probably had a good laugh then, but let me tell you, it's always the
unsuspecting and least popular one who always end up with the most
power, just like Bill Gates and Steve Urkel. Anyway, I followed Ringo
around to see if there was a quality to him that warrants worship. Ringo
eventually got a restraining order on me, but not before I was convinced
that I wasted my time on him.
