Bjork
Homogenic
Bjork gets a little more serious on this album. You can tell because
there's some classical music influence here, and no matter what
Saturday Night Fever tried to do, classical music is always
serious. Bjork really pours her heart out on this one, and it can be
beautiful. But come on, it's Bjork, the cute lovable Icelandic queen who
used to front a band called the Sugarcubes, although people will point out
that Bob Mould's band, Sugar, had little saccharine sweetness in them.
When I think of Bjork, I think cute Icelandic bouncy music that you can
bake cookies to, despite the seriousness of this album.
