Of all the Brit-pop bands, Blur is probably the smartest. Of course, the
Gallagher brothers ain't saying a lot, but Damon Albarn seems more
book smart geeky than Jarvis Cocker of Pulp. Albarn is probably getting a
kick out of David Beckham, the English soccer player who guaranteed a loss
to Argentina in the 1998 World Cup by cheap shotting an Argentinian and
getting kicked out. Beckham is also the fiance to Victoria Adams, or Posh
Spice. Adams said that we should forgive Beckham, because he tried his
best. Sure, forgive someone if he kicks an Argentinian, but if somebody
acts bitchy, than you kick her out of the band and continue making
millions of dollars without her. Yeah, I understand. I know this has
absolutely nothing to do with Blur, except that they're probably pissed at
Beckham, that jack ass.
