Anakin refuses. Sidious then shocks him with force lightning. He tells Anakin that he will spare him for he knows it is his destiny to turn to the darkside.
The clone army is sucessful in defeating the Mandalorians. Peace returns to Naboo and so does Anakin.
Palpatine tells sidious that the senate has passed a law to increase the Senate Peace Army fleet and to use clones as its army. Sidious tells Palpatine that Anakin has started his path to the darkside, "Soon our empire will be a reality, everything has proceeded just as I have foreseen."
