These are just some Newsies ditties. One is just by me and the other is by me and my best pal, Dot. The words in "_" are nicknames of peeps on the Newsies Mailing List.
Ditty # 1: How Jack Died by Coneflower
Jack walked into the corner store on 'Monday' to find an `ace' of a deal to buy a 'doll' for Les. He took out a 'copper' penny and 'fizzed' it to the `half pint' cashier. A 'melody' played from a 'pigeon' as he walked out the store. A 'cat' with 'cheeky' cheeks and 'key' on it's collar 'clinked' up to Jack as he sat down in a 'patch' of 'magenta' 'iles'. Just then, a 'luna' eclipse fell across him as a 'filly' kicked him in the head, a 'bee' stung him, and 'pigs' rolled over him. A 'slacker' strolled up and throw 'wisecracks' at him. More 'shadows' fell over Jack and a 'raindrop' flow down on his head and killed him on the 'spot'.
Ditty # 2: Spot's Excellant Adventure by Coneflower and Dot
Spot 'skatered' down the street with big 'smiles' on his face. But 'mischief' happened, and he 'stubbyed' his toe on an 'apple'. That's when Spot 'jeweled' up an idea to go 'south' but was stopped by a 'raven' flying into a 'chestnut' tree. With a 'sketchy' 'blush', Spot hoped so hard he wouldn't turn into a wet 'noodle' that his 'laces' split. He started to 'cuddles' his 'ragdoll' while a 'pearl' 'tear' fell from a 'buttercup' and a little 'moinkies' slipped in his 'shoe'. He 'blushed' in 'sorrow' and decided to eat 'muffins', since there were no 'pucks' to whack around.
