I have observations! Everyone can rejoice now…LOL! I know everyone else in the entire Newsieverse has observation. What makes my page any different? Well, not really anything but it's fun! Some of these observations I wrote down like a year ago, so, I'm gonna have little notes on further comments. LOL! So…yeah.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
-When all the guys are in line at distribution center, Mush and Blink tell Davey that he can cut in line. It's right when Racetrack is getting his papes and saying `gotta hot tip on a horse'. It's really cute how they invite him in line.
-Has anyone noticed that when the camera is on Mush and Race in the washroom, two guys turn in back of them. It's kinda freaky. I wanna know who those guys are!
-Does anyone know who says "Too rotten to be the sewer"? That statement comes right after Race makes fun of how much the Delancey brothers stink. ((Cone: I found out it was Boots who said that.))
-I notice when the guys are in line, they're talking to one another. I wonder what they're talking about.
-I wish one of the guys would swing from a street lamp post. It looks like it would be fun. ((Cone: I noticed in CTB that Dutchy actually swings on a lamp post, but only for a sec.))
-Why does Jack's hair style change throughout the movie. One screen his hair is in his face, the next (which is only like a minute later) it's slicked back.
-Pulitzer has a statue of Hermes (messenger of the gods in Greek mythology) in his office. It's a cool looking statue too.
-Mush's face is like kinda chunky in the rally scene and when they go to get Jack out of jail. In all the other scenes his face is thin. I know, I watch my Mushie baby a little too hard. ((Cone: I don't know if it was just the camera angle 'er what, but his face does look a little chunky in those scenes))
-Another Mush observation, he has some really muscular looking legs. His (green) socks look like they're about to pop off. And, Jake has some whoa looking muscular looking legs too (The only reason I noticed b/c they're the only two that have half their legs showing) and he gots some whoa looking muscles too. But not as big as Mush. No one has bigger and whoa looking muscles as Mush. ((Cone: Jake has really muscular calves. I mean, look at them. His calves are huge!))
-At the very end when the guys are dancing off the screen, it looks like Dutchy loses his balance and someone loses their paper.
-After KoNY when the guys are gathered around talking about the rally and stuff, Blink like slightly hits Mush in the back of the head. Mush looks at him annoyed and (I read his lips b/c ya can't hear him) says `stop'.
-When Jack, Davey, Les, and Sarah are in Denton's office, Davey keeps looking up and down at Denton. It's…uh…
-I wonder why Teddy Roosevelt calls Denton "Denty"….hmmm…pet name? ((Cone: AHAHA! I wrote a Provoking Newsie Thought on that not too long after.))
-On the subject of Roosevelt, has anyone notice when ever he talks, he never faces the camera. Could it be he isn't talking and it's just a voice over?
-It looks like a lot of fun to spin around on one of those wagon wheels.
-In STD, if you look in the background when the guys are circling around Race and Crutchy, you'll see Jake and this other newsie doing this weird touch/kick thing and you can see Jack and Davey's feet on the statue doing the same thing.
-I noticed that Oscar Delancey wears a chain with a cross on.
-Weasel looks like the Penguin in Batman Forever *te he* and walks like him too.
-There's this guy with the most redest hair I've ever seen that appears in various parts of the movie. I have claimed him and named him - Fire.
-Mush gets stupider and cuter every time I watch it…so weird!
-Jake was being mean to Boots in the Jack "scabbah" scene. He was hitting him. AH!
- I have found myself a nameless newsie I want to call Calamity. You can see him dancing besides Skittery when he does the 'jump over leg' step. He's on the right side facing the screen. He kinda resembles Snitch which is very odd..gesh!
-Another nameless newsie I have claimed is the guy who sings with Blink while the guys are getting bread from the nuns. I named him - Blondie.
-In the "waking up" scene, a lot of the guys have their under shirt unbuttoned down…yay! No, I did not just notice this, just felt like saying it. *sighs*
-You never see Teddy Roosevelt talking. Everytime he does, he's
turned to where you can't see his face. When Jack is thanking him
in his carriage, he never says anything. Just nodds his head. I
bet the actor didn't even say a word in the movie. They just
dubbed a voice in.
