"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord" -Romans 6:23
Romans 6:11-22......Here Paul revealed a great secret in the Christian life: Because of Christ's power in our lives, we no longer have to be slaves to sin. In other words, when temptations and desires to disobey God crop up in our lives, we no longer have to give in to those desires. God has now given us Christ's power at work in us to turn off the sin switch and to turn on the righteousness switch. We still have the power to choose which switch we want to turn on or off ((like I always say, you have a choose)). But if we choose to turn on the righteousness switch, the power to live holy and pure lives will flood into our being.
