These are the show names of the Batman shows that appeared in the 60’s-80’s


Batman
The first time Batman was ever animated was for the live-action “Batman” opening sequence. Batgirl was added in the third season credits. ABC, (1/66-3/68)

The Batman/Superman Hour
The first full animated adventures of Batman were on his half-hour of the show (of which Superman had the other half). Half of Batman’s 34 adventures were two-part episodes. CBS, (9/68-9/69)

The Adventures of Batman and Robin
This series was reruns of “Batman” episodes from “The Batman/Superman Hour”, given a new name. CBS, (9/69-9/70)

Sesame Street
Sometimes during Filmation’s run of “The Adventures of Batman and Robin,” the studio animated five short educational Batman segments which aired on “Sesame Street.” One featured the Joker and one featured the Penguin. Syndication, (‘69-’70)

The New Scoby-Doo Movies
Hanna-Barbera’s series matched the Scooby-Doo cast with famous television and fictional characters. Batman and Robin appeared for crimefighting hijinks in “The Caped Crusader Caper” and in “The Dynamic Scooby Duo Affair.” CBS, (12/72-12/73)

Super Friends
Having tred out Superman ad Wonder Woman in “The Brady Kids” and Batman and Robin in “The New Scooby-Doo Movies,” Hanna-Barbra felt the time was right for a new superhero team cartoon. “Super Friends” lasted for a whopping 13 seasons, in different incarnattions (see below). Each of these incarnations included Batman and Robin.

The New Adventures of Batman
An all new Batman series updated for the ‘70s featured jazzier animation and music, but added the Bat-Mite, a silly imp creature. The main excitment was the return of the live action Batman actors Adam West and Burt Ward to provide the voices of Batman and Robin. CBS, (2/77-9/77)

The All-New Super-Friends Hour
“Super Friends” got a revamp in 1977, with new episodes featuring three short adventures, one half-hour adventure, and kid-friendly shorts including Safety Tips, Crafts, Magic Tricks, and Super Friends Decoder Clues. Batman and Robin often teamed up for the shorter adventures with Whonder Woman, Aquaman and Superman as well as newcomers Atom, Rima the Jungle Girl, Apache Chief, and Black Vulcan. ABC, (9/77-9/78)

The Batman/Tarzan Adventure Hour
These shows were reruns of “The New Adventures of Batman” combined with episodes of “Tarzan.” CBS, (9/77-9/78)

Challenge Of The SuperFriends
Another new version of the “Super Friends” featured the biggest villains of the DC Universe teaming up as the Legion of Doom. Two of the villains were members of Batman’s rogues gallery: Riddler and Scarecrow. ABC, (9/78-9/79)

Tarzan and The Super 7
Also reruns of “The New Adventures of Batman” mixed with seven other shows: “Tarzan,” “Freedom Force,” “Manta and Moray,” “Monarchs of the Deep,” “SuperStrech and MicroWoman” and “Web Woman.” CBS, (9/78-8/80)

The World’s Greatest SuperFriends
The fourth incarnation of the Super Friends faced occasional comic book villains mixed in with litery characters and settings such as Frankenstein and the Land of Oz. ABC, (9/79-9/80)

Batman and the Super 7
When “Tarzan and the Super 7” (featuring reruns of “The New Adventures of Batman”) jumped into NBC in 1980, Batman got top billing over monkey boy. NBC, (9/80-9/81)

The SuperFriends Hour
The fifth version of this series featured a whopping 24 new episodes, which would have been exciting, except they were only seven minute shorts. The ultra-short Safety Tips, Magic Tricks and Crafts returned with eight new installments each. ABC, (10/80-9/81)

The Super Friends
Hanna-Barbera got weird with the next several seasons of The Super Friends, with 18 new seven-minute shorts produced in 1981-82 and 24 new seven-minute shorts produced in 1983-84. However, 18 of those never aired in the United States until later syndication and cable airing and six were held back until the 1984-85 Legendary super Powers season! ABC, (9/81-9/84)

Super Friends- The Legendary Super Powers Show
To tie in with the Kenner toy line, the entire series was revamped in 1984, adding Firestorm to the team, and focusing on Darkseid and his minions as villions. Adam West once again returned to voice Batman. ABC, (9/84-8/85)

The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians
As the Super Firends were overhauled to match the Kenner toys, Cyborg (from New Teen Titans) joined the team, and stories became slightly more adult. In fact, one episode, “The Fear,” found the Sarecrow causig Batman horifying flashbacks to the murder of his parents- the first time that had ever been filmed for any series! ABC, (9/85-9/86)
