      Detective Rafe Facts



        • He only has one name.  Rafe.  It is unknown if this is a first or last name.  We are assuming it is a last name, as it has been used in the same context as "Ellison" or "Brown".  However, Rafe spoke to Ellison on the phone, calling himself "Rafe" and speaking to Ellison as "Jim", so he may prefer his last name to whatever his first name is.
        • Rafe is a Detective in Major Crimes, sometimes partnered with Detective Brown
        • Rafe is part of the "Precinct Cigar Club", along with Taggart, Brown, and Banks.  Co-owner of a racehorse called "Little Stogie"
        • Occasionally we hear traces of a South African accent.



          • Directing traffic in "Night Shift"
