A few months ago, I got to buy a bunch of scripts from Geoff. I asked him how he got so many scripts and found out that he worked as the valet on the set for a while. Geoff was kind enough to write about his job for my page. Here is what he had to say.

Hi, my name is Geoff and I had the awesome opportunity to work on the Murphy Brown show also. I valet parked the cast and guest cast cars each week from January 1997 to Christmas 1997. I had a great time. I was new to California and so I was star struck everyday at work. It was cool to be working next to everyone. Everyday I would see Candice, Joe, Charles, Faith and Lily. They were the nicest people I ever met. Their cars weren't too shabby also. I love cars and celebrities, so I had the best of both worlds. I would have to say that Joe or "Frank" had the nicest car. It was a forrest green 1997 (I think) Porsche 911. VERY NICE!!! He was and should be very protective of it. I wasn't trusted enough to drive his baby until the final season. Believe me, it was worth the wait. Charles "Jim" has the second nicest car, it was a brand new black 1997 BMW M3. This was also a very nice car, it was the smoothest car to drive. It was a lot harder to stall Charles's M3 than Joe's Porsche. It was emabarassing as heck to stall out Joe's Porsche in front of him. Luckily he wasn't arround for everytime. Candice always had nice cars but I rarely ever got to drive them since she parked herself. She also had a very nice BMW and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Faith had a really nice blue Chevy Tahoe. It was about 100 times her size. Lily, who was the nicest to me and pretty much everyone else she ever met, had a pretty nice Mercedes.

My best experience involving driving one of the cast's cars was when Joe came flying up to the stage late (not the first lol), and asked me if I could go and fill up his Porsche with gas, because he wasn't going to have time to do it later. (OF COURSE I WOULD !!) I said sure. He then gave me his gold card and off I went to drive his precious baby off the studio lot fo rthe first time. I am sure I looked common as anyone driving a Porsche in downtown Burbank, but man it felt good! I drove about a mile or two down the road to a gas station right across the street from the NBC studios where Jay Leno does his show. Unfortunately the trip didn't last that long but I know I'll never forget it. Oh yeah, I had to give him back his gold card also :(

Geoff still has some scripts left for sale. His prices are very reasonable. The scripts are from the time he worked on the show (part of the ninth and tenth season). If you are interested in buying a script from him, you can email him at GBal17@AOL.com.
