"Fire down under" and "privilege of power" Those were classics. Fire down under was in a class of heavy by it self in '81, and privilege of power had a jazz metal feel to it, One of the best when it came down to accumulated talent from over the years for the band. These were my favorites. Can you still get "privilege of power" on cd? How about fire down under on vinyl? I'm pretty certain it's never been on compact disc. It's always the good bands you can't find, Wotta drag.

Wonderful site. However, I have some bad news. According to the DIO site, Riot has been eliminated from the tour. The new band is called The Unband. Whatever. I was going to Seattle to see the show just for Riot. Now it isn't that important anymore. Keep p the good work man!

I have been a Riot fan since Rock City.I have almost all the albums and trying to find live good footage of riot in concert or videos.I have seen them 5 times'but not since about 85 or so.Look to see if the play in Dallas Texas,but never see nothing in pa er. Since 81-82 I have been a Riot fan. I just happen to be searching for 80's metal bands and I came up with this cool site. I saw Riot in Texas in the early 80's and was blown away after seeing a true metal band.It is too bad that the bands now days suck!!! compared to the bands of the 80's.....
