Let me start out by saying this: I slay vampires on a regular basis.
I have saved the world about five times. You'd think that going through
a wedding would be a nice break. But this would have to be the
most stressful day of my entire life. We should have eloped.

I'd have to agree with you there, Buffy. I've been
around for 242 years, and nothing about weddings has
changed over time. It's sort of a rite of passage to
make sure the bride and groom reallly, REALLY want
to be married. Which we did.

Bring your family and friends into a church, dressed up in formal attire and
expect them to be on their best behavior whilst you wear a dress that's too long to
walk in and everyone watches you attempt to march down the aisle. Whose idea
was that??

It is our belief that future generations
will be able to look back on it and laugh.

So here, in our little contribution to the
Watcher Diaries, Angel and I have recorded
in pictures and words the full horror of
what should have been a simple ceremony.
You never know. Maybe someday we'll stumble apon this again, and
WE will crack up.
