Maurice Godin has a long line of credits, including starring roles in film, television and stage. Although possibly best known to U.S. television viewers for his starring roles in sitcoms such as Working, Life With Roger, and Cafe Americain, Maurice Godin also excels at dramatic roles, and has starred or been featured in numerous stage, dramatic films and television shows, including his appearance in the Spoken Art episode The Bottom of the Glass, which aired on Showcase. He has also starred in features such as White Room, Bizet's Dream, Double Take, and Vanished, and has appeared in numerous tv shows such as Alias, The Outer Limits and The Practice.
Per the IMDB, Maurice Godin will be appearing as "Wesley" in Chestnut, Hero of Central Park. The film is currently in production.
Top of PageMaurice Godin, a Toronto native, returned to Stratford after a 16-year hiatus. His theatre career has taken him across Canada playing Mercutio, D'Artagnan, Constantin, Puck, the Emcee in Cabaret, Joey in Pal Joey, Herschel in Fire and an award-winning Screamin' John in Rock and Roll , to name a few. When he was last in Stratford, he garnered critical acclaim for his Arturo Ui in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. Television credits include The Practice, Ally McBeal, Friends, Seinfeld, Third Rock from the Sun and Spin City. He was a series regular on Café Américain, Life with Roger and Working. He has appeared in numerous films both in Canada and abroad, most recently as the flamboyant Hector in Boat Trip. Maurice currently lives in L.A. with his lovely wife, Paula, and their two cats, Emily and Abigail. He spends his free time drawing, writing and building wood furniture.
