This was my baby sister at just 3 weeks old.
What a doll!!
For those of you that are unaware, I have a younger sister unlike any other. Why, you may ask? She is an angel. Her name is Alyssa. God gave me as a sister... my little sister.
The day she was born, was the beginning of the best 5 years of my life. We shared plenty of fun times, together, we had good times, and we fought too, just like normal sister do.
I was a proud big sis when she graduated Preschool. The first day of our summer vaction, we went to the mall, out to eat, and then to the park. She chased the ducks. She gave up on catchin' one, so we tried feeding the ducks. She took her time playin' on the slide, on the swimg, and just enjoying the park.
After leaving the park, we were on our way home. She told us good-bye before she took a nap. I fell asleep aswell.
Six days later, I woke up, unaware of my surroundings. I'm hooked up with tubes and several bones had been broken.
I survived... but it was her time to go... just six days before her fifth birthday. Heaven took her from me, but she still exsists in my heart. I love her with my heart and soul. I always will. I remember the good times and I remeber the bad times when we would fight like normal sisters. I'll never forget what it was like having her in my life.
This is my tribute and dedication to my little sis.
Here, she was 18 months old. That day she took 1st place.
Alyssa was 3 or 4 when this picture was taken.
Alyssa graduated preschool in this picture. It was taken only a few days before she died.
