Summary:
|
This TV-movie starred Douglas as a mild mannered Canadian schoolteacher named George Anderson. Regarded as a milquetoast by his colleagues and despised by his wife (Jean Seberg), Anderson is in the process of being divorced when he learns that the child expected by his wife is not his. He then plans his revenge, inventing a scheme that frightens and outwits his wife and her lover, and which ends with him killing them. A solidly crafted little thriller, the movie allowed Douglas to play quitley against his usual driving, aggressive image. |
