My discovery of this amazing Aussie actor was a surprise to me. It is like one of those things...one day it just hits you. This pencil drawing is called, "A Russelling in the Trees." Now come on, you have to admit he is cute! |

I had never used Prismacolors before this drawing. I usually used Crayola colored pencils. As a gift to myself, I purchased a set of 24 Prismacolors. As another gift to myself, I chose to draw Russell! This is taken from a cover of Entertainment Weekly. I changed the color of his eyes (on the cover they were brown) because his natural color is much better. Let me tell you, I enjoy having this to look at! |

Here is another Prismacolor. How innocent he looks; yeah, right... |

This is my first attempt at oil portraiture. I usually do my paintings in acrylic, but since finding water soluable oil paint, I have been trying to teach myself the method. The actual painting is much larger (18x16) and has more details, such as the rest of his armor. The style of painting is new to me also. I used to blend my colors perfectly, almost photographically. In this one, I used wide strokes of color, blending only slightly. I like it, but as most of my friends say, I would like anything with Russell on it. |

As you may have seen from my other pages, I collect Star Wars game cards. This one is my Gladiator dream card. I just adore that picture! |

Here is my ticket sketch for Gladiator. See that number in the bottom right corner...that, my friends, is the first ticket to the first showing! I need psychological help...LOL! |
