For now, the band is called Black Light - the only other choice (out of more than a hundred) that everyone agreed on, was Vertigo; but since then, another band's taken that name, so I guess we'll stick with this for now... We play mostly soft/hard rock, and alternative music - the kind of stuff we listen to. We cover other bands stuff, as well as compose originals.

The band, at the moment, consits of:

Christopher Chang - rhythm guitar/bass
Kris Deen - guitar/bass
Christopher Chow - vocals
Andrew Spencer (me) - guitar

Kris has his own band, Kryptic, but for now guests with us - he and Chang alternate bass and guitar parts depending on what we're playing; so as you can see, we're in the market for both a basist and a drummer, and maybe a keyboardist as well! We all go to St. Mary's College, Port of Spain (Trinidad). We're looking for people who're into similar music, who we can get along with who live in the same area and are in the same age group. This next part is stuff from St. Mary's College Form Five Graduation, which was held on June 24th, 2000 at the Port of Spain Hilton Hotel in the main ballroom. Below you'll find some pictures and two MP3's of the songs we played; Slide, by the Goo Goo Dolls, and Time of Your Life (a.k.a. Good Riddance), by Greenday. We added and instrumental intro to Time of Your Life, which consists of parts of Fade to Black and One (Metallica), Wonderwall (Oasis), and a song we wrote, called Shattered. We kinda messed up on stage; the whole thing was a little fast, Christopher forgot the words at one point, and Kris was playing that solo so quickly he lost me during Fade... Then some parts were out of time... Ah well, hope you can at least half enjoy it! Just click on the files to download them.
