Some Future Disney Animated Features To Look Out For

Kingdom In The Sun (2000) - Starring David Spade, Eartha Kitt, John Goodman, Patrick Warburton & Harvey Feirstein
This is Disney's 39th animated feature, after "Fantasia 2000". It is the first original story since "The Lion King", and features music by Sting. It tells the story of the spoilt Emperor Kuzco who wants to destroy a village in order to erect a theme-park in honor of his 18th birthday. A humble peasant, Pacha, pleads the Emperor to spare his village, but the Emperor won't take "no" for an answer. Things turn upside-down when priestess Yzma wants orders her henchman Kronk to poison the king; Kronk accidentally gives his a potion that turns him into a llama!

Atlantis (2001) - Starring Michael J. Fox & Claudia Christian
This is Disney's 40th animated feature. It tells the story of some explorers (of mixed nationalities, and a robot), who go under the ocean in a submarine to find the legendary lost city of Atlantis.

Treasure Planet (2002)
Based on R.L. Stevenson's "Treasure Island", this is a modernised Sci-Fi adventure set in space (with some really cool spaceships), and is Disney's 41st animated feature. By the creators of "Hercules", "Aladdin", and "The Little Mermaid".

Sweatin' Bullets (2003/4)
Finally, a wild-west tale from Disney. Originally, this one was to be a comedy seen from the eyes of a cow. However, Dreamworks Pictures' "Spirit" is very similar (only through the eyes of a HORSE instead), so Disney may have had to change the plot.

Bears (working title "TIMBER", 2004/???)
A group of bear cubs struggle to find their way back home through a destroyed timber land.

Lilo & Stitch (2001/???)
Definitely one of Disney's strangest tales, this is being made in the Florida Studios. It's about a young Hawaiian girl (Lilo) who loves to go to the beach, spend all her money to buy fish food, and feed the fish while listening to Elvis tunes. Meanwhile, a gangster from outer space comes to Earth disguised as a six-legged dog to avoid the police. Lilo soon befriends him...
