MOM

I thank you Lord, for giving me

A mom who's love to me I see

In all she did throughout my life

To shelter me from this world's strife.

She sacrificed through love and care

Even when the load was hard to bear,

Although I thought just of myself

She'd put her needs upon the shelf.

Now I see all that she's done

Through love that's warm like rays of sun

I thank you mom for many years

Of happiness mixed with heavenly tears

And mom for being so big a part

I want you to know with all my heart

I LOVE YOU!
