Victory

Twelve men, including fishermen, a tax collector, and even a doctor, enjoyed an intimate, three year relationship with the Son of God. Jesus, taking human form, came to earth as our deliver and a messenger from His Father. Twelve men, sharing daily experiences with this messenger who invoked change in their hearts and their lives. Jesus touched their lives with His love, challenged their traditions with truth, and lifted their hearts with hope. They walked daily with the Master.

For 3 years, Jesus touched their hearts and lives. They weren't the only ones touched, but were the closest to Him and it changed their lives.

But now He was dead. Their King, their teacher, their friend was dead. They were lost, numb, confused about what to do next. They gave up everything to follow this prophet. They changed their whole lives to be with Jesus. Now what?

Our dreams are often crushed, taken away, extinguished, and despair sets in. The exciting, hopeful, brightly shining moments in our lives turn dark. Doubt and confusion attack our minds, our hearts, our very spirits, like many years ago to those twelve. Jesus can roll away the stone from your heart and light up your life with victory today as He did back then. We can claim the victory now, just as they did then.

Excitement filled the hearts of these men at the sight of His empty grave, anticipation engulfed their lives through His appearance, and their faith exploded with the victory He gave them. Jesus rekindled a flame inside these men only extinguished by death. They spent their lives proclaiming the Victory - He's Risen.

He still reigns as the Risen Lord today, still filling people's lives with excitement, with Victory!
