Review: Just awesome. That's all there is to it. This movie kicked ass, and although lots of people might despute it, I think this is the BEST Child's Play movie of them all.
Chucky's old girlfriend (from WAY back when he was still in the body of Charles Lee Ray) recovers his body pieces (shelved amongst some other horror paraphernalia in a great homage to other slasher movies) and stitches him back together. In an act of greatfulness, Chucky kills her, then places her soul into the body of another doll. Chucky and Tiffany then go on the run with two teenage lovers in a gleeful, Charles Starkweather-ish murder-spree. The kill sequences in Bride of Chucky are just awesome. I was expecting one kind of death scene and was pleasantly surprised with every kill. Writer Don Mancini has outdone himself with this. It's just great fun seeing John Ritter get nails shoved into his face!
Trivia: The Child's Play Series is a record-holder among slasher series, as far as writing goes. It is the only saga to have all of the films written by the same person, with all four installments (thus far) having been written by Don Mancini.
