The Friday the 13th Series

In 1957, a young boy named Jason Voorhees drowned at Camp Crystal Lake. The following year, a strange string of murders took place at the camp, in which the counselors were brutally killed by an unknown individual. The camp was closed. In 1980, it was re-opened--and another series of horrible murders occurred.

Since then, there's been a legend around Camp Crystal Lake; a curse. A legend of a killer buried, but not dead; Jason Voorhees's curse. They say he died as a boy...but he keeps coming back...

Friday the 13th: The Series Television Show

From 1987-90, Friday the 13th: The Series ran on network television. The show was an anthology horror series about the owner of an antique shop who made a deal with the devil to sell cursed antiques, but he broke the pact and lost his soul. Each episode of the series dealt with a particular object from the shop. The show is long gone from regular TV, but reruns can be seen occasionally on the Sci-Fi Channel.
