The Psycho Series

If you're ever out driving in the rain, and you're thinking of stopping at a roadside motel for a shower and a nap, you might want to think twice. Especially if the first motel you come to is named The Bates Motel. The people who live around the area will all tell you that it's best to stay away from the motel...and from Norman Bates and his..."mother"...

Psycho: The True Story

The Psycho films are all based on real-life events. The character of Norman Bates invented by Robert Bloch was based on a man named Ed Gein, who lived in Wisconsin and murdered several people, preserving their bodies in various forms throughout his house and barn. He also had a special relationship with his mother. He stuffed her body when she died, and kept her room exactly as it had been when she was alive. Gein went to prison in the mid-50s, and he died their many years later.
