Review: Okay, let's put it this way: it's impossible to make a horrible summer camp movie. I mean, you can make a really bad one, but all summer camp movies have something redeeming about them, making them one of the best subgenres around for the slasher world to grab a hold of and exploit.
That said, let me make it a point to say that if it were possible to make a horrible summer camp movie, Sleepaway Camp III would be that film. This movie sucks royally. First of all, the video box literally gives away the plot, right down to the "surprise" ending. The acting sucks (big surprise), the deaths aren't all that original--still, I suppose, when you're in a camp setting, you've got limited resources to work with.
Overall, this is pretty boring. I was expecting a bit more from a movie that had the subtitle of Teenage Wasteland (whic is so cool, it should be a movie in intself). Alas, I was disappointed, and you will be, too, should you rent this piece of crap.
