Up Close and Personal - 98° Encounters
Hey I met 98* several times and each time it just gets better. On April 20, 1999, my friend and I had passes to meet the guys at a fashion show in Macys in NY. It was awesome the guys walked the models down the runway and then sang Because of You and The Hardest Thing. It was the greatest experience cause only 500 people were there. Then we got on line and were able to get their autograph. My friend told Nick that he had sexy lips, but I was so nervous that I just shook there hands and walked away..stupid me!! Then the next day they were signing autographs at Coconuts and we decided to go see them there also. We waited on line for 2 1/2 hours and they told us that we were not going to be able to meet them, but thank god the line moved fast and we got to see the guys. Jeff was first and my friend loves him and had no idea what to say to him, so I told her to wish him Happy Birthday!! She did and he told her to come back and he was like "thank you so much sweetheart" I told him she was shy and didn't know what to say so I helped her out, he thanked me and I moved on to the other guys, they are so cool. That same night we went to their Heat it Up Tour and went from the Last Row up to the Stage. I also saw them at Zootopia and The Lite-FM Birthday Bash for 106.7. But it gets better. My friend and I decided to go to the Thanksgiving Day Parade, we made it up to the front of the barricades and they stopped right in front of us and were waving, we were screaming so loud they were laughing. The next day we went to The Home Shopping Network taping and I was in the first row about 10 feet away from them. Jeff was so cute talking to this little boy and Drew saw me say "I love You" and started laughing, my friend was laughing and still teases me about it. Oh yeah another cool thing about the HSN taping was that Justin's parents were right behind us, he was so cute talking to them. Finally the last time I met them was at the mV record store in NY. My friend and I cut the line and were the 10th person to receive an autograph. I went up to Jeff and introduced myself and he was talking to me, I gave him and the rest of the guys a candy cane and hershey kisses. They are so sweet and even though I had a 101 fever I still went to see them, now that's dedication. If you want to know more e-mail me.

You need an up close and personal here I am.It was last year, April 7th. I can remeber everything we did that day.My friend Katie and I were talking about 98 degrees and we heard they were coming to San Jose,California. Not far from us we bought tickets to see Bewitched,Jessica Simspon and 98 degrees together. We got out of school and took our time going.I was dressed in overalls tangs up and a NC hat so maybe just if Drew could sign it,i like drew but love them all like brothers. We were close to the front of the line and held our spots. We saw a big big bus that was stopped they had to turn around and head back.I think it was there bus, some girls were crowding it and like those freakin fans just started to scream and point there they are oh my god,i laughed but katie and i ran over to where they point, nothing was there. They let us in we bought our things and waited.Jessica and Bewitched were ok but everyone was waiting for 98.Katie fell on top of my pretending to faint that was funny.we dance, never sitting down and sang to their songs. We weren't every close to them, but we could see them.2 girls were sitting down during the concert, drew got the spot light on them saying you better get up you're at a 98 degrees concert come dance with me.He got the whole stadium on their feet. They performed very very and saving up for the next concert front row to get pictures.I got 2 pictures that were somewhat up close.I lost my voice and was tried the next day but it was well worth it.

Hi, my name is Jane (wishing it could be Jane Lachey). I went to a 98* concert in October, 1999 and it was great. I had seats about 10 feet away from the guys. At one point in the concert when Jeff looked in my direction, I jumped up and down and waved to him screaming "I Love You!". He then looked right at me (we made eye contact, folks) and he waved to me and mouthed "hi". My friends were so jelous. I was so happy that I barely remember the concert after that. It was amazing.
