So, what is this about?
This contest is for all of you out there who love to draw. If I get enough submissions and votes on here, I will keep this up and running. Each month I will post a new topic for people to draw on. This is here to help unite all of the artists interested in Balto, and would like a fun little thing to do.
What do I get if I win?
A warm fuzzy feeling? Just kidding, though you might. Actually, since I don't have the money to actually buy prizes and send them out to people, and this is just supposed to be a fun little contest, that your art will just be posted on my Wall of Fame. All of the winners of each topic will be there.
How many pictures can I submit?
I'll let each person submit up to two pictures. But only if the pictures are of different characters. If you have two pictures of the same character, I'll put them both up under the same character. If you have two pictures of different characters, I'll put both of them up as different characters, since they are.
When do you vote?
Well, I close submissions a week before the month is over and open the voting then. You can vote for your own picture, that's okay. But the rest is all up to all of the other people who come and vote.
After voting is closed and you announce the winners, do you put up how many votes each picture got?
No. After voting is closed, all I do is announce the winner. I don't put up how many votes each person got because I don't want to discourage any artist and have them not return here.
Ahh! I missed the submission deadline by one day because my scanner was broken!
Well, if you miss the deadline by one or two days because of scanner problems or something, just e-mail me with a reasonable excuse and I will let your picture in. I will only take submissions two days after the deadline, any longer and I wont let it in, no matter what.
