At first glance, the senshi in green seems to be a violent, brash person. But there is another side to this almost intimidating girl. Lita is a very kind girl, but she is not afraid to say what she thinks. She is the strongest of the senshi, even when she isn't using her Sailor powers. She enjoys combat, but she also serves as a morale booster to the other senshi. Lita is very headstrong and tends to jump right in and fight rather than think it through. Even though she is headstrong, she never assumes a leadership position among the senshi. She will fight to defend her friends and to protect them at any cost.
Behind that rough exterior is a kindred spirit and a gentle soul. She is very loyal and will risk her life for her friends. Lita is often called the mother of the senshi. She loves her friends and enjoys doing things for them. She is very protective of them, and hates to see them hurt. Lita longs to be accepted by others, who often see her as too violent. One of the reasons Lita learned to cook was to cover up her more masculine qualities. Lita is actually quite feminine when you get right down to it. Although she is strong, she has a certain gracefulness about her that is amazing. She is an incredible ice skater, which surprises most people. If they only took the time to get to know her...
Lita lives alone in an apartment. Her parents were killed in a plane crash. She loves to cook, which is perfect because she has to cook for herself all the time. She always makes too much food for her lunch and always ends up sharing with someone, usually Serena, who tends to forget her lunch all the time.
Lita transferred to Serena and Ami's school because she "got expelled from her old school for fighting." At least, that's what everyone said. She actually transferred because she had a bad breakup with her boyfriend and seeing him everyday at school made her miserable. She wears a different uniform because the new school didn't have one in her size. Lita is the tallest of the senshi, measuring 5'6". Because of her reputation and size, Lita is often misinterpreted as being mean and violent. The other kids at school are afraid of her. No one ever took the time to see her for who she really is. Lita has a real soft spot for Serena, who was the first person to approach her. The scouts were her first friends at a new school, and Mina is her best friend.
One very important person in Lita's life is Ken, her long-time friend. Ken has always been there for Lita when she needed a shoulder to cry on (ep.43, "A Knight to Remember"). Serena wondered if Ken and Lita could really be just friends, and Lita told her that she wouldn't date Ken because she didn't want to ruin their friendship.
Lita's one major weakness (besides airplanes) is guys. She is notorious for falling for every guy she sees and claiming that they look exactly like her old boyfriend Freddy. Of course, all the guys look completely different! But that's Lita for you. She is amazing. Strong yet graceful, ordinary yet extraordinary...
