We just received an email from a man in regards to some Ralph Brown news. My thanks and admiration go out to Paul R. Jones for the heads up. It read as follows...

RALPH BROWN

As gangland boss "Miami Vice", Ralph is the star of "Lock, Stock" - The highly successful spin-off TV series based on the equally successful feature film.

Ralph is no stranger to Cult followings with one of his most famous film roles being "Danny" the drug dealer in "Withnail and I" alongside Paul McGann and Richard E Grant. Other films he has appeared in are "New Year's Day", "Star Wars - The Phantom Menace", "Amistad", "Up n' Under", "The Pope Must Die", "The Crying Game", "Alien 3", "Wayne's World II", "Buster" and "Scandal."

On television in addition to "Lock Stock" he has appeared in "Peak Practice", "Extremely Dangerous", "A Respectable Trade", "Rules of Engagement", "Christabel", "Van Der Valk", "The Bill", "Requiem Apache" and " A Touch of Frost". One of his favourite television roles was in "Ivanhoe" playing "Prince John"

He played Roy Pilgrim in the "Jonathan Creek" first series episode, "No Trace of Tracy", Jonathan Geddes in "Last Train" and "Sam Connon" in the "Dalziel and Pascoe episode "A Clubbable Woman". Further Police work beckoned in the second series of "Between The Lines" where he played DAC John Convey in "Manoeuvre 11" and he also appeared as "Peter Beasley" in Dennis Potter's swansong "Karaoke". He has recently guest starred in the third series of "Lexx" playing "Duke"
