FINAL
BALLOTING FOR BEST POLITICAL FILMS OF 2002
Many films were pre-nominated
for Political Film Society awards for 2002. Since
Political Film Society rules require the number
of nominated films to be reduced to no more than
five in each category, members voted in January
to narrow the choices. Accordingly, the final
ballot appears below:

FILMS
DEBUTING IN 2003
Hollywood distributors place
some films in cinemas during January when they
do not expect them to receive Academy awards,
but that does not mean that they are uninteresting
politically. Check the Political Film Society
website for reviews of several recent films,
especially City
of God.
