The Board of Directors of the Political Film Society held a meeting at the time, on the day and at the place set forth hereinbelow, pursuant to Rule 12 of the Rules of Procedure:

TIME: 6:49 p.m.
DATE: February 3, 2001
PLACE: 8481 Allenwood Road, Los Angeles, CA 90046.

Present at said meeting were the following persons:
Michael Haas, Chair of the Board of Directors, Member of the Political Film Society, and Chief Executive Officer of the Political Film Society
Eric J. Dacumos, Acting Secretary of the Board of Directors and Member of the Political Film Society

The following named persons served as Chair and Secretary of the meeting:

Chair: Michael Haas
Secretary: Eric J. Dacumos.

The first order of business was to approve the Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors held on August 5, 2000. The motion carried.

The next order of business was to determine the five films with sufficient nomination votes in each award category. Eric J. Dacumos as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Political Film Society counted ballots and announced the following result:

DEMOCRACY: The Contender, Human Resources, The Hurricane, Steal This Movie!, Sunshine

EXPOSÉ: Before Night Falls, Erin Brockovich, The Hurricane, Thirteen Days, Traffic

HUMAN RIGHTS: Before Night Falls, The Contender, The Hurricane, It All Starts Today, Remember the Titans

PEACE: It’s the Rage, Kippur, The Terrorist, Thirteen Days, Titanic Town

There was a motion to reconvene on March 3, 2001, in the same place at 7:00 p.m. to count final ballots for awards. The motion carried.

There being no further business to come before the meeting, upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned.
