01/05/00 - It's been almost a year since I've updated the news, but unfortunately Rasa hasn't been in the news much :( Let's see, since I last wrote here, she was engaged to a former male stripper, then they broke up. That’s about it :) But news is she will be/has quit The Great Outdoors and will focus on her long time dream of ACTING. She's going to be studing acting in the States and I wish her all the luck. So in the shortterm it's bad news, no more weekly Rasa on our TVs :( But hopefully we'll be seeing her on the big screen!

Unfortunely, the Rasa site isn’t much of a priority to me anymore :( She's not on TV much, and I've been working on other things/sites. So just to let you know, I have one semi-regularly updated site featuring Australian TV commercials. And I'm also found a new project, and again it's a kids show host :) Maybe some of you will like to take a look.

Australian TV commercials' site - http://www.powerup.com.au/~obake updated semi-regular

Emily Perry site - http://members.xoom.com/avidemily updated whenever I can, which isn't much :(

Lets all wish Terasa all the luck in whatever she has planned, and keep those e-mails coming too. They've dried up recently, but that’s understandable :) here's it is just in case you've all forgotten - obake_a@yahoo.com

06/07/99 - Wow, what an early birthday present for me, to see Rasa on ANOTHER cover of FHM. I think Rasa would be the only person to be featured on the cover of Australian FHM TWICE! And for those who don't know, she was voted 3rd Sexiest Woman in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women the World 1999 'poll'.

I've been thinking of rescanning the previous issue of FHM featuring Rasa, and maybe even the four issues of Inside Sport (hehe), so stay tuned peoples. E-mail encouragement for this is suggested, because you know how lazy I am?

Well, what more can I say, stop reading this and go enjoy the mag/pics.

06/05/99 - I've just been told there is a Toyota tv add in Sydney featuring Terasa! Anyone in Sydney confirm this for me? How about magazine adds? Anyone seen? Could someone send me a tape (hopefully recorded SP mode and in stereo) of the add. All costs will be taken care of from my side.

On a different note, check out the back of this month's FHM. Yep, it's Holly! In shear blue lace lingerie! There's a preview of next months (June issue) FHM. I'm sure we'll all be rushing to get that one. I've been told June 2nd is the release date.

15/03/99 - How's everyone been? Well, exciting 'news' to start off this years news. A bit late into the year, but it's worth it. I've just received an e-mail, informing me of Terasa's break-up with Jamie! I'm told it was printed in the Sunday Herald (14/03/99) page 119. Well, me being in Brisbane makes it difficult to get my hands on the paper, and tomorrow is Monday, so this makes it harder. Here's what I have: "Neil Brooks has been busy during his time away from TV after a series of boofhead comments in a mens mag.Brooks has been consoling TV star Terasa Livingstone, who has just broken up with her long term man & who has been living in Brooks Watsons Bay abode.Blah Blah Blah" now if anyone could scan this for me, or type out the article, I would be most grateful. Or maybe articles from other magazines would be nice. At the moment, I'll put this under 'rumor'.

I'll also let you peoples know, I have put up a few vid-caps from a recent episode of "The Great Outdoors'. Check 'NewPics' for them.

20/12/98 - Suave was generous enough (after a lot of begging and pleading) to allow me to make a small Suave's corner, featuring FOUR great scans done by Suave. Just by looking at them, you can tell he puts A LOT of effort into these scans, I do not have to patients, or skills to do what this 'Doctor Frankenstein' of the scanner does.

Wow! Seems a lot of people wanted to see Terasa in the buff. During the weeks of the release of the pictures, the counter peaked at almost 900. That's twice the number Terasa usually gets! But last week, it settled down to the usual 300-400 hits a week.

I've also got a hand full of scans I have to edit before I can upload them. But not sure how much better I can make them? Expect to see them real SOON!. Thanks to Mr. Jonker for e-mailing them to me. Greatly appreciated.

And, it's that time of year again. Hope you all having a festive time? I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support for this site, and wish you a Happy and Merry Christmas. Hmm, wonder what I'm getting from Santa? I know what I WANT, I can just picture Terasa wearing festive bows in all the right places... :)

10/12/98 - By now you should have all bought issue 34 of 'black+white' magazine? Is you haven't, why not?

It's been a busy month November for Terasa, with the 'black+white' scans, the 'Australian Peoples Choice Awards', last weeks TV Week, and now the FHM Calendar. Btw, it's also her on the cover. The scan from the Calendar is available NOW from the POTW section. This was a 'tricky' scan. I had to join three scans to make up the result. And all three had different colours/contrast/brightness. It took a while to get all three the same. AND, there was the annoying staples right through the middle. Doh! If I may say so myself, it turned out quite well. Let me know what you think?

I've also been working on some mpeg's of Karen MacDougal, The 1998 Playboy Playmate of the Year. These are taken from the DVD version with the same name. At the moment, there are FIVE, but I've been doing about one a day, so I should have a lot more soon. These are for ADULTS ONLY and you must be 18+ to view, so they won't to available here. But if you want to have a look, just send me an e-mail, and I'll see what I can do?

26/11/98 - All our dreams have come true! Terasa has appeared in "(not only)black+white magazine", issue 34. Rush out and get YOUR copy today. Or view my scans FIRST. Yep, YOU heard about it here first! And you saw it first HERE. Obake and Avid Creations have done it again, with these first pictures on the NET. I actually had lunch at 4:00pm, because I was so excited to get these on the NET. As you might notice, I haven't done any thumbs, or html for these pics. That's so I could get them to you fast, and to save space at XOOM, and GEOCITIES.

Hope you enjoy, I certanly AM. There were a few more pictures from b&w, but I had trouble scanning double pages. This I one thick mag! And some smaller pictures were also not scanned. I was in too much of a rush. Oh yeah, these are black and white. E.g. no colour. This is the way it's done in the magazine, if you didn't know?

31/10/98 - The IRC chat is now online. I edited it a bit, to make it easier to read, but it's all the good bits are there. I managed to get few 'questions' in, and I told her about this site! But my ISP decided it was a good time to kick me off-line during the chat, and I couldn't get back on-line for 15 minutes after, just in time to hear Terasa say 'good bye'. If I remember correctly, the last time I chatted with Terasa was about a year ago! But I did miss a few in between.

I didn't recognize anybody there though? Everybody busy at uni/work no doubt.

On another topic, I've just got word that Holly will be making an appearance on 'Home & Away'. Not my usual viewing, but I'll have to make an exception this time. To find out more, check out Mola-Ram's pages.

I've also discovered the links to the video captures don't seem to work all the time. It's just Xoom trying to get their share of advertisments in (a little Xoom 'icon' pops up instead of the picture). Don't worry, the pictures are there, you just have to keep trying till it starts to load. If that doesn't work, try to 'copy the link' and 'paste it into the address:'. I'll try and fix this soon, maybe if I 'move' the Rainbow Runner pages to Xoom, it'll start to run smoother? Stay tuned.

Trick? or Treat!

26/10/98 - Sorry for the late notice, but Terasa is scheduled to have an IRC chat session tomorrow the 27th of October at 6pm (EST), so that'll mean 5pm for us in Queensland? Hopefully my ISP won't kick me off during the chat? But I'll also be asking a few of you to log the session for me. Thanks.

On a different note, I've run out of "Agro's Cartoon Connection" tapes already. I only started taping the shows from when they did Perth, I still shed a tear on the last episode ;( . I've always got 'Great Outdoors'. But I do have a few mpeg files yet to be uploaded, and maybe a few more pics.

I'm also thinking of setting up a mini ZOE NAYLOR and CAT DEELEY 'sub-site' as well in the near future. Can't have too many Zoe or Cat pics on the net? :P Anybody got room for them?

18/10/98 - I've had a busy weekend setting up the new stills and movies at the rainbow runner section. Three new movies and a few new stills. There are also a few scans I've been e-mailed that I have to put up as well. And maybe a links section? Maybe. I think I'll take this opotuinity to mention a fellow Terasa page. He might have a few pictures I don't <grin>.

03/10/98 - This is tough work getting the new pictures up on the net. And the weather here in Brisbane isn't helping. Here's what it took to get the captures on the net.

I picked out of random one of my Terasa/Agro's Cartoon Connection video tapes and popped it into my VCR. When I wanted to capture something, it does it in 704x576, PAL (for all you technical people out there). Now this isn't the 'normal' 4:3 ratio, so the image size has to be changed, in my case, 400x300. Now I had to do this for all 17 (2Mb) of the pictures. After I did that, I placed my watermark on them.

I went through just over 1 hour of tape and captured 17pictures, and three avi's. the sound on the avi's were messed up, so I have to go back and do them again tomorrow. A hard nights work. God I'm tired. I'll be back in a few days to put some avi's up, till then, enjoy the stills. BTW, any suggestions, comment, or whatever on the captures will really be appreciated, (and I won't go into Politics, I'm sure you have had enough.)

29/09/98 - The Rainbow Runner has finally arrived! Here's the story… The Rainbow Runner is no longer 'available' in Australia, well actually it is, but 'Focal Point', the Australian distributors for Matrox is too slack to sell them in Australia? How's that for service? Well, this means the RR is only available if ordered, which cost ~$600, and takes two weeks to arrive! BUT, I found a shop in CANADA, where Matrox have their HQ, and bought it for, get this CAD$99! What a deal, and the shipping, CAD$150. The total costs? Just under AUS$300. That's about half of what I would have paid in Australia. And it took less then a week. Yes peoples, Obake IS a VERY happy Bunny!

But some bad news, the RR has a VERY 'accurate' still capture. This means LP video sources do not come out that good. The bad news? ALL my tapes are in LP. This is last time I use LP. I never really noticed the difference until recently (after I bought a DVD, and now with a RR). But some good news, video's (mpg's) look very acceptable. Check out the NEWPICS for a little something I captured to water your appetite. Expect to see more in the future.

20/09/98 - Beware of imitations! I've been doing a bit of 'investigating', and found quite a bit of imitation Terasa scans, by your's truly. One place I 'visited' had one of my scans, with my snazzy transparant "Avid creation" watermark COVERED over by their own boring tags! I couldn't believe it! But I suppose that's what they do, that's who they are. Some other place I saw had my pics, but it's been cropped to NOT include my watermark. Well, that's the net for you. But it you still want my Inside Sport pictures, that were removed after I received some un-friendly e-mail from the lawyers representing the parent company of Inside Sport Magazine, there out there on the WIDE world web. But some have have grasiously given me credit. Be careful of lower quality imitation scans!

BTW, have you been watching 'celebrity Wheel of Fortune'? I saw Monday, and Thursday's episode. Both did NOT feature Terasa, but I'm sure I saw an ad with Terasa on? Did I miss it, or has it not been shown? Please e-mail me and tell me!

12/09/98 - Did you all watch "Alive and Kicking" on Tuesday night? A very special guest was on, and we all know who it was. The pictures, and AVI are up in the "New Pics" section. Thanks to Rooboy for them. And I hope you all watched 'Troy Dann" last week? I've got it on tape, so if I get a vid capture card…

On to the subject of my Matrox Rainbow Runner, the place I ordered from tried to rip me off! They advertised the card for $362, but tried to trick me into paying $444! I ordered on Saturday, they didn't reply by email, so I rang them on Monday, they said it'll go out on Tuesday. Still no card, I rang on Thursday, they said it'll go out on Friday. I get an email on Saturday saying it went out on that Saturday! Woohoo, but then I get an email on Monday saying it DIDN'T go out on Saturday, and the price went up! And they had the nerve to ask if I still wanted it!? But the thing is, they're still advertising the card for $362! I'd suggest you don't do business with these guys!

And, I've out up a new PictureOfTheWeek. Sorry it took so long. You peoples have got to remind me.

4/09/98 - Unfortunately Terasa's chat session was cancelled. But I've noticed that Terasa will be a 'special guest' on 'Outback Adventures with Troy Dann'! This is going to air tomorrow night (5th September), sorry for the late notice, but I only saw the ad. yesterday night. And the Rainbow Runner is supposed to arrive here on Tuesday, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. I better start searching through my video library for those tapes!

29/08/98 - Good news and bad news today. Good news first, well it's also bad news (the Australian dollar is worth about US55c). With the Australian dollar looking as is, and not with a very bright (near) future, I've decided to take the plunge into the world of home video authoring, and bought the Matrox Rainbow Runner yesterday, mail order! But I used the most evil of worldly goods, the Master Card!

Bad news, well, I'm not 100% sure Terasa will be at #seven on Monday. I did some looking around at http://www.seven.com.au, and it says the chat has been 'postponed' (http://www.seven.com.au/chat/). But somewhere else, it says she [will appear] appeared on the 22nd of August (http://www.seven.com.au/Hot_seat/oldindex.html). But elsewhere, it says 31st August! Was the 22nd chat postponed to the 31st, or is the 31st chat postponed? We'll just have to wait and see. Here's the actual notice from the seven site referring to the 31st:

Don't miss your chance to chat about all her recent adventures right here at www.seven.com.au on Monday August 31st.

AND, I still don't know what time! Is it at 4:00pm, 8:30pm? This is freaking me out! I can't wait till Monday to solve this mystery, or am I reading into it too much?

26/08/98 - You might have noticed the MP3's are back? The 'lost images' have made room for them to come back! Woohoo. Hopefully we won't have the same problems we had before, before MP3 were 'popular'.

I've also 'chosen' which video capture card I'll be buying. It'll be the "Matrox Rainbow Runner". A very good card for the money I'm told. So expect stills and full motion video captures very soon! If you sell, or know a good place to order one of these, PLEASE let me know. They're good 'value', but not cheap!

And it's still not too late to pledge, and for your chance to receive a FREE CD-ROM with all pledges $20 and over.

And one last thing. Terasa is will hopefully to be at #seven irc chat on the 31st of August. Ah, not too sure about the time though. Check the Seven web page for more detail.

See you all there, Obake.

18/08/98 - Just incase you didn't read top of the main Terasa page (T.html), I received an e-mail informing me I had infringed the copyright act, whatever that is, and was asked, well threatened to remove all mention from their publication (notice how I haven't mentioned them by name?). I'm not allowed to say what they said to me either, I don't even think I can say THAT?!

Well, not to worry, I hope to have a T.V. capture card very soon, (so hurry up with your pledges everyone), and that'll mean a lot more pictures/movies, and a lot of time in front of the computer for me.

12/07/98 - Literally spent the whole day getting the Australian edition of FHM up and running. Woke up and started at 1000, and just finished now, 2330. There seems to a problem linking the larger images. But just keep trying, it'll eventually get there.

The 'Terasa-thon' is going well, I now have 200Mb+ new pictures to include on the 'Terasa CD-ROM'. They are the ORIGINAL un-edited pictures from FHM.

Now I'm going to spend the rest of the weekend studying. I know the rest of Queensland are on public holiday, but I've got a BIG test next week. Hopefully it'll be the last for a while!? Which could mean, I'll be spending a lot more time here, for you peoples.

11/07/98 - The Terasa issue of the Australian FHM (For Him Magazine) should be at your local newsagent this week. Make sure to get your own copy! But don't worry if you miss out, I'll be putting up the pictures here VERY soon.

Okay, I don't know how well this is going to work, if at all, but here goes…

I'm considering buying a TV tuner / capture card so I can grab my own Terasa images from my modest video library. I will also be making AVI movie files!

These cards cost between AU$150-AU$400. So I'm going to run my own 'Terasa-thon'. I would like you to 'pledge' a donation into this exciting new project. It's only a 'pledge' at the moment, so you won't have to reach into your pockets just right now. If it goes well, I'll ask you to fulfill your 'pledge' at a later time. To make it even more exciting, a fulfilled 'pledge' AU$20 and over will receive a copy of the 'Terasa CD-ROM'. The CD-ROM will contain all the images I scanned for this site (as well as the FHM picture coming very soon), and ALL the HI-RES images seen/coming up under the PictureOfTheWeek section. And if you want, I'll include the first batch of AVI files I make. I'll also try to get permission from the various sources of the extra images that I did not scan or grab so they can also be included on the CD-ROM.

To 'pledge' a donation, please e-mail me at obake@geocities.com and put 'pledge' under subject and the amount you want to donate under the main message area. I'm also interested on your thoughts about my plans. Let me know what you think.
