WCW...more specifically Tony Shivonie (sp?) have officially declared that they are desperate for ratings. The little prick sat there on Monday Nitro last week, and TOLD THE NITRO AUDIENCE THAT MICK FOLEY WOULD WIN THE WWF TITLE! Not only that, but he even saracstically said "that'll put butts in the seats". Hey Tony, I've got news for you, MICK FOLEY DOES PUT BUTTS IN THE SEATS! Did you happen to hear the fans when RAW opened in Houston? They were chanting FOLEY! Now if WCW is so desperate for ratings that they feel giving away RIW results is their only means of escape, THEN QUIT WHILE YOU STILL HAVE WHAT LITTLE DIGNITY SHIVONIE HASN'T RUINED! Mick Foley EARNED the WWF title, and I know in a company where Goldberg was 173-0, that there's no possible way you understand what EARNING a title is about. It's funny though, RIW pulled it's highest ratings ever with that epsiode, so maybe Shivonie is some sort of undercover agent for the WWF or something, because he sure helped them out. Hell, I'm not even that worried about ratings, I say watch whichever show you wish and enjoy it, to hell with the ratings, but it's such a debate these days that you can't avoid it. Well, the WCW can tell us all who will win on taped RIWs, but no matter how many times you describe it, nothing can make you appreciate something like a Mick Foley WWF title win unless you actually witness it.
Well the hits for my site have been increasing a little lately (yay), and that means the emails and guestbook signers have also increased. Don't mistake me, hits aren't what matters, it's the quality of your site, but I do like to see I'm being viewed by more than three people daily. Anyway, I get quite a few comments on this column in my emails, and I just want to encourage you to keep sending that feedback in. Even if you disagree with me, you can tell me so in a respectful way. Which brings me to my next complaint here. SABLE MARKS. Honest to god, the IQ of these people must be sub-zero. People, I have never pretended that my views are those of most people, I couldn't care less if everyone agrees with me or disagrees, but SABLE IS NOT A GODDESS, A ROLE MODEL, OR EVEN THAT GOOD LOOKING! And because I choose to dedicate my drooling to Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, NOT SABLE, I get people signing my guestbook and sending me emails that to say the least aren't very nicely worded. As a matter of fact I just got done deleting a guestbook entry of that type. I hate to break it to you, but it's as simple as me clicking the delete button on my email or on my guestbook editor to take care of your carefully thought out (ha) comments. If you wish to go spank it to the tune of a hypocritic, ugly, bitch, in the form of Sable, feel free, to each his (or her) own. But I WILL NOT put up a Sable gallery, and I WILL NOT take down my Sunny gallery.
Ummm...now that I've probably pissed off quite a few of you, I'll call it quits for this edition.
