The Tombstone

The Tombstone

"Her "SUNNY" Days Are Over

The World Wrestling Federation has announced that Tamara Sytch, the woman formerly known as ‘Sunny,’ has been officially released from all of her contractual obligations with the company.

Unconfirmed reports say that Tamara has joined the Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion, so that she can be closer to her fiancée Chris Candido.

Everyone at the World Wrestling Federation wishes both Tamara and Chris the best of luck with all of their future endeavors."

As you can see, it's official. Sunny is now gone from the World Wrestling Federation. Since I talked in my last column about only writing these "Tombstones" when I get the inspiration, you can obviously see that this news is a huge story and something I have decided to write about.

Hey, if you're a fan of my site, if you've been following it for very long, you probably know what a huge Sunny fan I am. Yeah, I probably liked her for other reasons than her personality, at first anyway, but that's not the point. Anyway, I am a huge Sunny fan, and now I guess I'll call myself a Tamara Sytch fan, but whatever. She brought a lot to the WWF in my view, mostly because she really had no real competetion in the female department. Sable? Get real. Up until Sunny got stuck with announcing mini-matches and managing bald guys, she was the only woman anyone paid attention to in the WWF. Sable was always just some girl that stood ringside until she started to get a push as a slut and some sort of tough chick. Sunny was the WWF's female represenative. Sable was (and is) just a uglier, sluttier, older counterpart. Yeah, I can't say I mind when Sable comes out there on RAW wearing dental floss, but I'd much rather see Sunny in a bikini than Sable with paint on. For that matter, I'd rather see Sunny in a baggy shirt and jeans than Sable in paint.

Where am I going with this? Well, the WWF should have done more, A LOT more to keep Sunny happy and in good angles, because I would think that anyone with an ounce of brains or taste would have prefered Sunny over Sable any day of the week. What will Sunny's leaving do to the WWF? Probably nothing since she hadn't been on RAW for a few weeks anyway. I've got to say though, as for me, I must say that I am royally pissed that my cable company doesn't carry ECW. I mean, if I had ECW before I would watch it some, but with Sunny now over there, I'd watch it habbitually. You know, you've got to ask yourself, would you rather buy a t-shirt with Sable on it, or one with Sunny? I think the WWF knows the answer to that, because they used to sell 5 or 6 different Sunny shirts at a time, along with screen savers and other stuff, while Sable had no merchandise.

I guess I should stop comparing Sunny and Sable now that they aren't in the same company. Now let's think ECW for a second. I don't know a whole lot about them, since I don't get it here (DAMN!), but I do know that they've got a couple of girls over there, Beulah and Francine I think, and from what I hear they are both sluts. So there we go, Sunny will be the only real woman in that company too. ECW would probably be a good thing for Sunny, Tamara, whatever, since she could get more exposure in a smaller company, except that ECW is not shown in most homes across the US. Actually, for ECW, this whole thing couldn't be any better for them, because I find myself wanting to order their PPVs (I actually do get that, all 4 of them) even though I don't like a damn guy over there, just to see Sunny! I know there are lots of people thinking that besides me too.

You know, the WWF may not actually be affected in ratings or anything like that, but I absoultely know that they have a whole load of disappointed (male) fans, because I'm one of the most upset. I almost wet myself when I read that rumor (at the time) in a newsletter. And that's not trying to be funny either, I'm serious! The WWF, whether they realized it or not (and they probably did), had a huge fan base of guys that were absoultely GLUED to the television whenever Sunny came out. I guess ECW will have that now, at least in the cities where they are broadcast. I might have to make a few (thousand) calls to my cable company and ask for ECW! Anyway, seeing as how I'm such a huge fan, Sunny, Tamara, whatever, she's still going to stay on my site. I'll be updating her gallery whenever I find something new I guess, since I won't be able to do video captures of her.

I guess the Sunny has set on the WWF, and I can only hope to hell that my cable company starts getting ECW, ECW, ECW!

That's it for this round....until next time....Rest In Peace! Or BURN IN HELL! Take your pick!
